Cashing out altcoins is quite easier these days, first you need to sell your alt for bitcoin and than cashout those bitcoin. But if you have ETH, LTC, bitcoincash like altcoin than you can simply trade them for fiat and get cash on your bank account. Which platform you need to use for this depends on your country. Coinbase, bitpanda, livingroomofsatoshi etc...

I have cashed out a pert of my BTC holding in the past with coinbase.com But coinbase only handles bitcoin, bitcoin cash, ethereum and litecoin so Any other alts will have to be traded into any of the above first on whatever exchange you use.
I have thought of Gold but i dont fancy having to store it and i dont like the idea of buying into it for some other institution to take care of it for me.

I cash out my coins by selling at https://remitano.com/ng? ref=invester, and within a short time i get my cash in my bank account. You shouldn't post referral links in this forum. Remitano Bitcoin P2P exchange so should get a buyer for your offer then only your trade will execute so I don't think it will happen so fast and also I don't think you can sell all coins in that site currently except few like Bitcoins, ETHEREUM, TETHER, USDT and BITCOIN CASH.

If i made a significant amount of money from crypto i would definitely look into real estate. you could make money in real estate by leveraging your money (through a mortgage) and try to buy a rental property. The rent from the property will have to pay for your mortgage payment, repair costs, taxes, etc so you would have to find a good deal. You can check out bigger pockets on youtube they go over this a lot and interview people you have succeeded in real estate.

Property Coin ( https://propertycoin.re/en/) could be a good solution then, I believe they solve exactly this problem and they take BTC/ETH. You do have do all of the KYC stuff though.

I do cash out my altcoins when it reaches a certain amount giving me profit which I decided while investing in it. I just have been cashing out and withdraw all the funds of that particular altcoin with profit to my bank account and keep it safe for its utilization in another coin and gain more and all I have in mind that when I earn a certain amount which will be enough to purchase a real estate, I'll put my money in it and start from zero again in trading.

Definitely real estate, but I think good altcoins have huge demand for them in the future, I would never cash out except a minimal amount.

Man, if you have enough bitcoin (or altcoins) to buy real estate, I'd say do it. It's generally a good investment wherever you are, one that is also practical--you can live in the house you bought. You can't live in a gold bar. And I'd avoid metals like the plague, unless you have a very good reason for just needing an inflation hedge. I think gold & silver are going to be going sideways for the foreseeable future. Stocks are also a good idea, as I don't think the bull market in them is done yet--but I don't think bitcoin's is either, so that could go either way. It's the real estate that makes the most sense to me. If I had enough bitcoin I'd definitely buy some land.

I think there's a local market to cash out your crypto to fiat, just search in google for what crypto market in your country. If i have enough,i will go for real estate obviously, the demand is higher than gold.I will start with small house or apartment and rent it,with this you can get passive income without doing anything.

It largely depends on the time frame. Bitcoin in its current form and in current time hasn't even shown 10% of its ultimate potential, which will only result in a huge disappointment over time. It's basically the same reason why people aren't willing to spend their coins on goods. The coins you spend today being worth $1000, will turn out to become worth $10,000 in a matter of years. To me personally it would only make sense to buy real estate when we're like 10 years (or further) away from now. You'll get far more bang for your coins, and you will feel more satisfied as well. That's obviously assuming people have the time to wait.

Thanks! I agree and I'm thinking of https://propertycoin.re/en/ (for disclosure, I'm an advisor on this project), but equally I'm interested in it as an investor.
