Hi all,

i have a ASRock AB350 Pro4 mobo with 2x x15 PCI and 4x x1 PCI

So i have 5x RX 570 on the machine and am sitting with an open (secondary) x16 PCI that i would like to use for a RX 560 i have laying around (good for another 13Mhs so can certainly be useful to me)

I'm not IT literate and google isnt answering me Smiley - how do i connect to the x16?

ive seen ribbon cables. are they powered?

can i simply plug a x1 riser into the x16 on mobo and will it provide signal? (Im sorry to ask and know i can test but i am worried i break something, right)

Please help me understand how im meant to make use of this additional port.

KR,
Learning

A 1x riser can be used in a 16x slot.

Those ribbon extenders can be powered, but are old fashion

use these

Your welcome.

OP should keep in mind that a 560RX is powered by the extender and must be powered with sufficient juice.
