There was an Anti NSA rally in D.C today, did anyone else make it? Twas pretty neat, I actually saw a guy with a sign on him that said "I sell Bitcoins" but he was pretty far ahead of me in the march so I didn't get a chance to talk to him. I found it sort of odd, that the general demographic was older people, the median age being 40-50. There was actually an elderly woman, maybe in her 80s in a wheel chair with a Tor Project shirt on.

There were a few congress persons speaking out, and the neatest thing to take away, was that there was an ammendment to repeal the Patriot Act a few months ago, which only lost by 7 votes. A similar try is going back through, but it seems as though it has more supporters this time, including the man who wrote the Patriot Act and gathered support for it in the first place. So it seems there might be a chance of things getting better (I hope).

Sad that even under hardcore users this hasnt provided more replies.
But dont worry, in Europe its not different, 70% dont understand this and out of the 30% 20% think they have nothing to hide.

Going to an Anti NSA rally if you are smart about the details of surveillance is not a good move. But sending "proxy robots" and have their pictures taken instead of yours is a better move.

I'd include anyone who thinks they have nothing to hide in the group of people who don't understand.

Sad but true although the last couple of years this is very slowly changing.

Good think there is at least something happening in the US.

As an Europe citizen I'm really pissed by now, that the US consider me an enemy and terrorist supporter (at least that's always their explanation).
And that's basically the biggest point, the US Government is on the best way to alienate the complete rest of the World. Soon you will be totally isolated, if this behavior continues.

All previous versions of currency will no longer be supported as of this update

They know what they want but they're going about getting it all the wrong ways; there's no use overthrowing the state just to install another one.
