This type of question used to be very popular.
People would be very curious of what coins are the best, and specifically, what cheap coins are the best.

Unfortunately, picking a coin only based off of it's cheap price is not a smart investment strategy.

The first reason why it isn't smart, is because the price of a coin is actually in proportion to it's max and circulating supply.
Even btc, although it looks really expensive, when you take into account how many btc is actually out there and the fact that it can be divided into eight decimal places.
Actually it's not that expensive.
So a coin that is only 10 cents, will actually be over or undevalued depending on how much coin is circulating.

Another reason why this is not smart is because the quick pump and dump investment strategy flat out doesn't work.
You might think, by low, and when it pumps I'll sell it, but the market is so volatile that you can not be consistent in making profit this way.

The best and smartest way has always been to invest in real, legitimate companies that have a real world use case and an amazing product.

I don't think it is important whether a coin costs more than 0.50$ or less. Its cap is the most important thing.

Stellar, cardano, iota, nem, verge, aurora, and many others. I didn`t think much about this list, it was just what I have for months already, and some already longer than a year. Their time will come, in next few years we will see crypto market growing much larger than it is now, this coins will rise a lot, while some new projects will be created. We need to have patience for this young coins, they are here not so long, they will be much more accepted in the future, thats what I count on.
