So, I just started exploring Bitcoin, and obviously, I'm not a serious miner, and I was just using my CPU to mine some bitcoins. It was working perfectly fine with the Ufasoft Coin Miner, and with the deepbit mining pool for two days, and then all of a sudden, it started to give me connection errors. Here's the command line output:
Code:

.................. etc

I've really run into a brick wall on this issue, as CPUMiner and a number of other miners have also given this error (after I thought that only the Ufasoft coin miner was the problem). However, it can't be the deepbit server, since that's still running. So, I don't know what's going on; any help would be appreciated, please.

Must've been that the server was just shut off.
Same thing happens for me occasionally when I mine with newer pools.  Undecided

Nowadays it's pretty frequent to receive a DDos attack when you are mining Bitcoins.
