I beg to differ. NEO is the safest investment vehicle if you want passive/staking.

All you need to do is keep NEO in your wallet and forget about it for years. When you come back you will surely be happy with 1) the value of NEO and 2) the amount of GAS you've generated by staking.

I would prefer to choose cryptocurrencies with inherent utility and provide passive income at the same time. For example, Neo can be used as a basics platform cryptocurrency and it also gives gas. I also like Wave. You get waves and tokens if you lease them but you can also use it to create your own token. In terms of just passive income, I like TAAS. It provides dividends as well, and they are well-known and respected in crypto community. They pay around $2 per token per quarter. If you consider the fact that their tokens are worth around $8, that’s not a bad investment. You can get your tokens cost back within 2 years.

There are so many passive income tokens that i like and can advise anyone who has interest to go for, which are PPT, NEO, SAFEX, PAY and BCC. O!y favourite out of all is NEO. The reason being that in staking NEO, you will get GAS in return. Both NEO and GAS have a lot of prospects. PPT's invoice platform i am not too sure if it has been released. SAFEX is still developing their Chilli blockchain and PAY just started paying out dividends quite recently but the amount of payout is still fairly low for the time being until the adoption of their crypto debit card grows more.
