What is a masternode?

Masternodes are dedicated servers on the internet that enable instant transactions and perform the trustless anonymization of users' funds. They usually get the majority of the rewards per block for this task.

Masternodes are essentially addresses with a lot of coins in them that are not moved for extended periods of time. They help in securing the whole network and help stabilize the price of the coin somewhat, by taking large number of coins out of circulation.


What is a shared masternode?

A: To make a masternode, it takes a lot of coins that are worth a lot of money, and not everyone can afford it. Others don’t want to deposit sufficient funds into just one coin (they’d rather spread their investment across multiple coins). To get around this, people come together and pool their coins, with each taking part of the reward. This is known as a shared masternode or shared community masternode.


How does your shared masternode work?

The total number of coins needed for a masternode is divided equally into a certain number of shares, and people can essentially buy those shares to take part in a masternode. A person can buy all shares and get a dedicated masternode for himself.

When all the shares are filled, the masternode is started.

The masternode will be start automatically as soon ass all the shares are filled. And the rewards gained by the masternode will be sent to shareholders daily/weekly (depends on reward interval of the masternode).

If a shareholder asks for a withdrawal by following the withdrawal rules, then their coins are returned to them and a new person is recruited to take their seat. If the search for a new person proves unsuccessful, then the masternode will be dismantled and every seat holder will receive their coins back.

SNODE takes deposit and reward fees for its efforts for starting, securing and running the masternode for the pre-specified period of time.

- Reserving a share Users can reserve as many shares as they wish. When a masternode is filled up all shares, Snode will active that masternode and start sending rewards to its shareholders periodically.

- Cancelling a share Snode allows user to cancel their share with a notice of 72 hours in advance. We use that time to find a replacement for that slot.

Thank you for being interested in our service. That's very good question indeed. Trust has to be earned from both our service and our investors. Our commitment is having the service running as long as there are still investors putting their coin in our service. Even in the case that there is no investment from our user, it costs us almost nothing to maintain the service. So there is no reason for us to stop the project.

In the second phase of this project, we will have an insurance service running on smart contract to ensure that every coin user put in will have a backing collateral in the blockchain. Of course, that would take a little fee from users if they choose to have the insurance for their investment, but the investors can rest assured that they will not lose their coin.
