Hello friends,

I am curious if you are running any masternodes? If you are, which coins are they for?

Thank you for participating!

seriously profitable? VIVO went from 13 to 0.88, INN from $16 to $1, SPK from 13 down death to 0.05, the list continues...You have to make hundred % just to make even. What's staking/MN for?

Been intrested in this aswell. The problem with MasterNode coins is the volatility of the price on the altcoin. Its not stable growth by 2% year exactly  Grin What im afraid of and why i havnt invested in a masternode is that the risk of loosing money on a drop in altcoin price is too high.

Then just wait for the price to drop and grab yourself a nice and cheap MN. Since the initial drop and after people start buying the coins and the price goes a bit up, it should be stable. At least those are my observations so far, make your own researches.
Otherwise - I am running a PROTON MN and also thinking of getting myself a QBIC MN also.

Same here, just setup a Proton MN over the weekend, now I will wait a few days to see how it runs and then I am thinking about QBIC also and few others. But trading for Proton on Graviex....blah, just pure torture Smiley
But I guess the problem is low trade volume, not the Graviex itself.

Btw a question for those who have more MN. How do you setup multiple MN for the same coin? Server part is easy, you can just buy multiple VPS. But for the cold wallet part I don't know, because its on the computer. Do you have to use the hot wallet or can it be done with cold wallet on a single computer? I could use multiple user accounts but thats quite unfriendly.

Another question for those with experience. Can you sell the coins used as colateral after the masternode is confirmed? Or do you have to keep them in the wallet?

I have Crown systemnode, Chaincoin and Monoeci masternode.
Could be good time to buy masternodes now.
I really like Monoeci. Very nice project with serious and active developers.

Monoeci is a bargain at current price.
I would say the same about Crown and Chaincoin too, but Monoeci is my favourite.

The coins for collateral must stay in the wallet in order to get rewards from the masternode.
But you can run a remote node so you don't need the wallet with collateral to be online to run the masternode.

Thanks for the info and clarification @ronnylov. Will check the coins you mentioned. I also think its good time to buy some MN. So to give info back, the profitable I found that also have a setup guide:

- Galactrum
- NYXCoin
- Polis
- Pirl (very expensive)
- ApollonCoin
- MagnetWork
- SagaCoin
- ZacaCoin

Did not check the background yet. May be all shitcoins. But they are all quite profitable atm and have a guide to setup the MN. Guide is important IMO because without it you can fail at setting the MN.

All in all I run about 20 masternodes for ~15 various altcoins.Bought/mined them all at the very start when returns were max (and ROI min.), months later they still give about 75-200% per annum.

I bought VIVO for running masternode at price ~0.0006 BTC, and at current price which already down 6x, it seems like I could not get the ROI.
Masternodes coins are too volatile and as I see a lot of masternodes coins look the same.

I agree. A lot of MN looks the same. We'll end up with a lot of coins with ZERO value.

VIVO has alreay paid back like x2.5 since they started masternodes and most of it was when the price was high. Can't complain.

It depends. Most coins require separate VPS for each masternode but some (PURE, for example) allow you to set it up on a single server using different ports.

Just have them set up in different addresses/VPS.  I ran 4 XIOS MN before the coin forked.  I think I hit the diamond in the rough at the right time and got it when the coin was in the 40 cent range and sold 80% of everything when it peaked around $4.  I'm hoping when the fork is complete and the XUEZ coin is launched that the Mastnode program keeps trending upward.  I had a great experience and got extremely lucky on timing but with the right coin and getting in at the right time staking and running a masternode can be profitable.  Unfortunately, most of the timing was getting in before the run-up of every coin.  Need to pick and choose now, be patient and only get involved in a project you plan to hold and believe in.

Can you give us some information about which coins are they?

There are several that I'm interested too, I'm currently thinking of getting into with Bubbletone UMT token which right now is having an ICO that will end this April. They only require minimum of 1000 UMT to operate but then I could have to consider the earnings before jumping into it.

VIVO, INN, SMART, ZEN, BWK, FOLM, ALQO, MUN, DESIRE, PURE, FOLM, IFX and few others. So far only MUN has really let me down.
