Can I see / generate the public key for a Multibit address?

I want to try if I can use the Blockchain android client to setup a 'watch only' address so I can see the balance on my phone...

Never mind - figured it out.
Scanning the code from Multibit direct doesn't work, because it adds the word 'bitcoin' in front of it when the QR code is shown.
So I just copied the actual code, went to a QR generator, generated the QR code for the key only, scanned it into the BlockChain app, and it
showed the balance.
