Deepbit Payment Issue

Hey,

I'm fairly new to mining and bitcoin in general and I have a question related to the Deepbit pool and thought this section would be most appropriate.

I currently have 0.43430425 btc mined in my Deepbit account. I'm looking to withdraw this amount into my wallet but I can't mine the remaining 0.005xxxxx due to current difficulty and my hardware limitations, so (as far as I understand) automatic payment is not an option. I've attempted manual payout many times, with various values including 0.44, 0.43, 0.42, 0.43, and 0.43430425, none of which have worked. The website gives me a "Please_wait_for_autopayment!" message on the Payment screen after any first attempt, and then forwards me to the Account page with a "Please_wait_2_minutes!" message after any second attempt.

Am I missing something obvious?

My email address is unconfirmed.
I tried to payout both during and after stopping mining.
I attempted setting automatic payout threshold to 0.43 and 0.42.
The site provides zero indication that the payment was successful on their end.

Automatic and manual payments
Automatic payment is triggered if your balance is over your payment threshold AND at least 24 hours have passed since any previous payment. This means that if you used manual payment then next automatic one will happen in 24 hours. Entire balance is sent down to bitcents, the rest stays in your account.
You can request manual payment at any time, but total number of payments should not exceed 3 per 24 hours. Minimum payment is 0.01 BTC and full-precision amounts are allowed.


i would wait a while as there website is very very slow so it might take a long time for it to register on there system.. failing that you could always bribe someone to lend you some gh/s i always like to be bribed make it worth there time and im sure youll get some intrest

Unfortunately it doesn't really apply to my situation as the automatic payment method doesn't work as detailed, nor does the manual option.

I guess it could be the site being fussy, though I'm not sure how - the messages I'm getting, although not very detailed, are being displayed successfully and ultimately for a reason.

I'll keep trying though and would love any more suggestions people might have!

Hmm, I've never had an issue with payouts from Deepbit.  I know allot of other people say they have but I think most are related to trying to get very small payments and then having to wait a really long time for Deepbit to find the next block.  Deepbit mines it's own transactions so other pools won't pickup small Deepbit transactions because there are no fees.  I always withdraw a minimum of 1 Bitcoin and have never had a problem.

Anyway all you should need to do is go to the "Payments"  and copy your balance to the clipboard and then paste it into the field left of the "Instant payout" button.  If you get an error message copy it and then PM [Tycho] and also email the problem to the link on the website.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll go ahead and PM Tycho.

I had intended to withdraw at 1.0 btc but unfortunately it's not feasable anymore to mine that much, so at this point I'm just taking what I can from my mining efforts and looking more into investing in the markets rather than mining... I'm out of my league with the influx of ASICs recently.

Cheers again, I'll keep an eye on this thread for any more suggestions and/or my solution(s).

Edit: Did some looking into the cause and it seems earlier in the year people were having similar issues and were given the explanation that due to the increased value of btc at the time, Deepbits hot wallet was drained because a lot of people withdrew at the same time. Could just need a few hours or a day or two to fix the issue.

Yep, that's pretty common too.  Allot of people use pools for banks.  That's never a good idea.

I tried again a few moments ago and the payment went through successfully. Although I can't confirm it, I'm fairly certain it was simply the issue detailed in my previous post - lack of funds for payments due to lots of withdrawls by a large number of users.

I am running into the same issue with the "Please_wait_for_autopayment!" message. I understand the lack of payments issue, but I tried a much lower payout with the same issue. Who should I contact about this problem? I do not see an email address or contact number on the website, and it appears that Tycho hasn't been active on the forums for some time..
