About ZWAMZero Waste Asset Management (ZWAM pronounced as [zii-vam means Life in Sanskrit])* manages the lifecycle of highly valuable discards that residents and businesses are paying to throw “away” by using Peer-to-Peer (P2P) practices in the sharing economy. We specialize in technology built on Blockchain paradigm that assures proper assets’ handling, such as recycling and organics composting. In addition, this behavior is reinforced by a cryptocurrency utility token system rewards for those taking sustainable actions without using traditional financial intermediaries, such as banks or other collective investment management vehicles.
Introduction(WhitePaper)The intention of this protocol is to reduce trash collection costs and harness the discards currently being wasted to create a new “resource-based” economy. This protocol will reduce waste costs by automatically ordering the collection of discards/resources from the least expensive service only when the container is near full. It will then track and verify that the discards, traditionally sent to disposal facilities, are redirected to third-party destinations by providing incentives for diverting the 12 categories of waste defined by Dr. Dan Knapp of Urban Ore in Berkeley, California. All payment for services, payment for resources, and all other data such as “proof of recycling” are distributed immediately to all relevant parties.
