The Russian government is pushing back against reports that it helped Venezuela launch its controversial "petro" cryptocurrency.

The Russian government was very quick in denying the report that they indeed help Venezuela set its own crypto currency to somewhat escape the US-led sanctions. Do you guys think that Russia is not really involved or just washing their hands on this matter to avoid friction with the US and the its allies?

Personally, I do think that the Russians is somewhat involved or secretly funding this 'petro crptos', as we all know how Russians works from behind. We don't even know the source of the money being poured in Venezuela's petro, and I highly suspect that maybe some rich Russians is a investor.

Remember they are still not off the hook with the poisoning of a Russian ex-double agent as Britain is accusing them of being involved.
