Is cloud mining bitcoins still profitable? I mean i hear a lot of things from both sides. Amd i wanna make sure that i don't waste time and momey if I would just earn small profits or even worse lose all my investments and waste my time.

There are a few legit cloud mining but its hardly profitable, you'd waste your money on buying Hash and long ROI.
I'd suggest to use your money to invest in something else, or buy a mining rig and join a Mining Pool.

Bro you can find many threads like this around and this thread is unnecessary for you to get your answers.

In short summary :

Cloud mining is scam due to its un-tolerable charges, fees, contract structures, minimum withdraw limits and much more to count on. Many of them are just posing to mine the currencies but they are not doing anything but just posing! Said that twice so that you can understand whats going on here. For cloud mining to work these people must put some extra cash from their pockets but they wont do it because it is far costlier to do so. You dont get money back from such schemes because you never reach the minimum withdraw limit before ending of your contract. So many fishy things in their which you need to take care of and at the end you get exhausted and forget about the money.

Whether or not a cloud mining service is legit or not, I really doubt it will be profitable. Best case scenario is that you'd break-even from your investment cost. If you want to profit from mining, then do real mining and purchase proper hardware.

I think it was said so many times before, avoid cloud mining unless you want to lose the funds.
Legit cloud services are very rare and it's hard to recognize them and majority are unfortunately scam scheems you don't want to be involved in.
If you ask me cloud mining is way too risky and they hardly wait to get another victim. Just stay away, it's the smartest thing you can do.

No! They have never been and will never be. Think of it logically. If a company has the money to buy all of these different miners, why would they want to sell the mining power? They can just use it for themselves and keep the profits. If they were to sell it to people, then they would have to up-charge, and fewer people would want to use the service.

Overall, I've never heard any form of success from cloud mining. Even if the site isn't a scam, it usually ends up with terrible profit margins that don't really make sense to pursue.

days ago I saw in a forum people discussing about this subject, I will answer your question with another question:

How many percent do you expect to profit from cloud mining? So you ask me why the hell am I asking this question? I'm asking this question because until a few months ago hashflare was profitable, but you did not profit very much, ie it was much better to buy bitcoin and hold.

The same case can be said of genesis mining where you can obtain profit, but it will be a very low profit for the time of contract duration vs buy and hold.

if you choose to invest in cloud mining then you have destroyed the future that you have. doing cloud mining will only make your time in vain. cloud Mining only performs mathematical calculations and without any real hardware. I do not understand why until now there are still people who believe in cloud mining, but already many references and discussions that say that cloud mining is a bad investment choice!

Cloud mining are ponzi and they can't run for lifetime also with increasing mining difficulty even a lifetime mining contract won't be profitable.

Bitcoin cloud mining? No. Alt-coin cloud mining (not SHA-256)? Maybe. Tho as you an see, and test it for yourself, that none of the cloud mining services are legit or can actually last something without losing you money. It used to be profitable, I did get ROI with cex.io back ibn the day, but today... no.

The very nature of cloud mining lends itself to ponzi scheme scams. You give them a large sum of money, and get back a small sum of money every day. So the business model itself opens up a lot of websites to just being scams.

That said there is Bitmain's cloud mining, but again you're putting up a lot of money to get back a small amount every day. I'd say save the money and just buy the machines yourself.

Earning with cloud minings was an old upward trend used to earn profits from your investments but most of them were only scam projects which in realy had no hardware to mine coins in background. Although if there are a few legit cloud mining websites in market but it seems to be time wasting job now

When it comes to cloud mining, I haven’t heard any good things about those sites. Since I joined bitcointalk it is a hot topics about those sites who’ve scammed every clients who trusted them. And I’m not exempted, I was one who tries those service hoping for other passive income, but i just wasted my time and money for that. In one day, they’ve closed down and bring all the money. That’s a shame.

and giving a way for the people to spam in your thread. Please lock the thread as soon as possible. Except genesis and hashflare all other cloud mining sites are scam and ponzi schemes.

According to my experience .... i had made much more profit when i had bued Bitcoins direkt instet of buying hash power on genesis Mining....
But Genesis ming is still a good option its trust for me and allways paying ... most other Cloud minerst still gone away.

Cloudmining has been getting alot of disapproval from anyone who has been in the cryptocurrency space for quite a while. Because with hashcoins having their stock stolen in Iceland and the incident genesis mining had a few weeks ago
It does put those who are already heavily invested in cloudmining in a precarious situation.

I would tell anyone who is asking if they should believe or even trust in cloudmining as a whole it is better to keep your money and your coins and put them into something else that you know are legit and not inline with ponzi scheme or pyramid type scenario. From what most of these sites are portrayed as given our current climate in the crypto space.

It is but this is assuming you were able to mine a lot of coins before the prices go up and the difficulty goes up as well. Since if the prices go down and the difficutly just keeps on rising then you would be getting less and less coins everyday but the earnings are a lot lower. I would just recommend to just buy and hold. Its a lot more profitable in my opinion.

It is but this is assuming you were able to mine a lot of coins before the prices go up and the difficulty goes up as well. Since if the prices go down and the difficutly just keeps on rising then you would be getting less and less coins everyday but the earnings are a lot lower. I would just recommend to just buy and hold. Its a lot more profitable in my opinion.

Lots of similar thread related to cloud mining which it would be appropriate to do your research before on posting the same query all over again.For the sake of op's concern it has being advised or mentioned a hundred times that cloud mining isnt really a profitable business and most of them do end up on scams.If you dont like to lose money then better stay away with this cloud mining.Even you put it on legit ones like genesis or Hf but still it cant guaranteed you income in the end of the contract.
