My partner was very sceptical at first, but it eventually changed when I started buying gifts with my profits and when I sold

some bitcoins for cash. A lot of people are making the mistake to only buy and hoard bitcoins and their partners seldom see

the proceeds or the profits from their investments. This creates a situation where their partners think that Bitcoin is just some

scam or some fake "money" ......You should buy something for them, to prove that it is real money.  Wink

My significant other also has doubts about Bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general and would rather have me pursue my career then spend all my time fussing about cryptos. I just say, it's my hobby and sometimes hobby's turn out to be profitable.

No, bitcoin itself is not a job but there are different ways to earn bitcoin and exchange it to cash so that you can make a living out of this. But keep in mind that its not easy to earn bitcoin and it will take a lot of time until you can earn enough money to consider it a job. Of course everyone that doesnt know anything about bitcoin will tell you that it's not possible to make a living out of this because people are always sceptical about a lot of things and their only source of income is from a fixed job and they dont think there is other way to make money. You have to find something that is 95% guaranteed to make money every month otherwise it is better to take a real job and work with bitcoin part time.

For her, bitcoin is also profitable and can be a business opportunity for her. Bitcoin also will help us to sustain our everyday expenses and needs for our family. Some of the bills like rental, water and electric supply, and internet that we always pay, bitcoin provides an income to us so she is still supporting me to invest on bitcoin.

I don't have a wife but for people who have a wife I would like to believe that since marriage is a partnership then your wife already knows where some of your money is going into investment wise. If she doesn't already know, then you should tell her by putting together a list of your investments and the profits you have made and explain to her how it all works.

Like many partners of Bitcoin users here, my wife is also skeptical at first about my joining in cryptocurrency. But after explaining to her the technology and the trade of cryptocurrency, she becomes passive about it. Still not a believer but at least I can go on with my Bitcoin life.

Does bitcoin bring you a profit? If its enough then why does your wife think so? I go to the main job. Bitcoin is my extra earnings. The main rule in our family is not to invest too much

I think crypto can be considered a place to work if you really want to focus on the work here you may be able to play bounty or join ico project. I think that's good because they work like people in the office  Grin

You still need a real job. Bitcoin isn't a job, it's a form of currency. It's not even an investment. It's digital gold and over time when everything equilibrates and people use bitcoin more frequently, there will be no huge pumps in price unless new tech and hype happen.

You need an actual job, online or in real life, where you can earn a steady stream of income. That way you'll not be putting all your eggs in one basket like you are now.

Bitcoin becomes gambling when you've shut off any other possible revenue streams except for bitcoin. That means if everything goes to shat (like it did now with this bear market), you won't be wondering where and how to buy bread or pay for electricity.

Always have a backup or secondary source of income.

I'm part of a movement to make the forums better.

she doesn't too care about bitcoin and how it's work and basically she hasn't believe people can earn money through bitcoin because she say earning bitcoin isn't actual jobs and more likely to consider as side earning because she say again bitcoin can't ensure our future

Bitcoin is not a job it is good to have a real job and doing bitcoin with your extra time. Much better take this bitcoin with your extra time that you have a fixe income. Because this market if always volatile a total risks actually.

Yes, my family doesn't believe in bitcoin either. I started investing in bitcoins a few months ago, and I spend a lot of time in bitcoin every day. My efforts paid off, and I got a lot of money. They were surprised when I told my family that I had made a lot of money.

Bitcoin is an alternative online job.

Your wife tells you to go to work maybe because she wants you to have a stable job aside from bitcoin. Your work is the primary source of income and bitcoin is just an alternative and it is risky. She just want you to be responsible in dealing with finances because anytime bitcoin can dump and  pump at the same time. She only wants to prepare your family for you guys not to lack financially.
