I think the positive results of gambling just get fun for a moment, and yes true, too many negative results. in fact, I think play gambling has no benefits because I myself play gambling over the past 4 years, just spend the time and it is vain, and I am so easily emotional. They actually do not understand the real purpose of gambling. They when see someone with more money then they think that it is because of gambling. You cannot call everything hard work, i invested and mined bitcoin for a long time in the past and i made a lot of coins and i used to gamble with it without any regrets as it was basically free for me, gambling wont make anyone rich but rather the opposite, i lost many coins in some of the major sites and i stopped giving away free money after the price crossed thousand dollars.

Are you really serious right now? It is common about gamblers and they know its consequences before starting it. No. Not all. Not all who play gambling has posses that mindset,  most gamblers are playing gambling is because they wanted to earn a profit but that does not mean they will not stop until they become rich or until they still have a balance on their stash . but sometimes, they forget about the loss of money can be their consequences too in gambling games because they cannot winning the games. and they only continue to play the games without stop for a while and think about what they did if they still continue to play. and if they only care about the happiness, they don't have to spend too much money and they will know when the time to stop the games.
