I think that it's almost impossible to quit a strong addiction all alone. Addicted person truly needs someone to overcome it otherwise there's a huge risk of even more problems.

Everyone who was drowning in addiction already will always need someone to help them. It is so rare to see someone who can pull up themselves when they were drowning already in addiction. It takes a lot of courage to come back the way what their life was before that's why people who have an addiction problem basically need a good friend or a family to help and guide them to slowly stop the addiction.

It needs someone who can assist them to cope up with how life was been before they've got addicted to this activity, not sure if single handed cases like this can be resolve without asking for any help if it's really addictions that encountering by a gamblers, self willingness will helps a lot but still need some guide and affections to overcome this issue.

I believe sometimes the addiction in gambling is good if a person is wining in gambling and this addiction makes him play more excessive gambling.
On the other hand, this addiction can also ruin your money and unfortunately there is no returning back if you lost most of your amount in gambling.

Even if the school taught about the consequences of gambling, and even if their parents taught them about it, if they are nothing but also gamblers, that will be useless. Friends can really affect them but with the guidance of the Teachers and the Parents, it will be really great for the children. The communities would also be helpful for them

not all . there are still gamblers that can control them selves like for example me i am a gambler and i am not addicted with gambling . i play gambling rarely because i have more important things to do in my life that should be prioritize more than anything else  .

i only play gambling when i have  a free time to kill boredom but im also hopping that i could with some .  the consequences of gambling for me is loosing but i dont regret because im not depositing large amount of sums  .

But we are hard to find a school which teaching about the dangers of playing gambling. I agree that we need to give discipline to our kids at home, and we can tell them about the risk. I think they can know later, especially if, in their neighborhood, there is a gambler who is still playing gambling so they can know by themselves. There are many other consequences from gambling, and if we can teach our kids the biggest risk of playing gambling, I think they can learn the other consequences of gambling.

I think by just reading the news, you will really see how the adverse effect of gambling in a society. But I disagree that it should be taught in school. But teachers should at least touch based it, specially if subject has to deal with the society itself.

Gambling, drugs is a menace and I think teachers should take it a personal goal to mould their students not to enter those vices otherwise their lives will be ruin.

Influence can also affect why some children learn to gamble. im a regular gambler before but as the passes by i develop different skills like trading and investing so i slowly refrain from gambling because i want something that is secure or a sure way rather to earn a profit  . i can say that gambling didnt leave a trace on me and im not facing any consequences so far .

But this is the main problem with addiction,,, that you cannot really understand it unless you have it. And yes, gambling addiction may not be the same as alcohol addiction or substance, but the underlying problem is the same,,, addiction.

No matter how important the other tasks in life are, or the situation of the person, it does not matter because their brains are built in a different way than us. So this is something we really need to understand first.

Addiction can never be a good thing. If an addicted gambler is winning, it only makes things worse for him/her. It is much harder to quit after experiencing some good winnings. Remembering how much they were winning at some point such gamblers expect the repetition of those lucky events, thinking that it wasn't luck, but their betting strategy that made them win, and that they surely will be in profit eventually.

Indeed, you had a point. Those gamblers think that gambling is a source of income but they don't know what will be the consequences on it. Well, that was the result of losing money and might be turned to addiction that it is hard to cure by someone else. You must pay attention to the parents advises or those elders from you.

They are also misdirected by those people who want to increase their affiliates. They invite them and tell them that they will be millionaire with gambling. There are other people who want weak people to come to play with them so that they can earn from these weak people. We all have to stay away from them and have to think that gambling is not a source of income but a source of entertainment where we have to spend only those which we afford to spend for our entertainment.

When you're into gambling when you experience loss you need to quit it instantly. Moving along with it for a longer time period will surely ruin your wealth or the savings. The more you delay the more chances to go out of control. Here one exception I have, all that mentioned is for the common people. User who has good funds for their living and lot in wallet can use it without fear on gambling.
