 Pooled mining worked - but id like to give solo a try - just to see how it works etc - with a alternative scrypt currency.

But is there a way to confirm that its working - so i wont waste  hours and hours  for nothing.

For example.. BCQ coin should work fine for GPU solo farmign to test.

The  wallet is installed, started with -server switch in Roaming and conf has:

Code:
rpcuser=mauro
rpcpassword=1
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=9332
daemon=1
server=1
gen=0

block_nTime=1317972665
block_nNonce=2084524493

using cgminer 3.6.6 with :
Code:
cgminer --scrypt -o http://127.0.0.1:9332 -u mauro -p 1  -d 0 -w 256 -v 1 -I 13 -g 1 -l 1  --thread-concurrency 8192
HD7850 extreme /oc edition - but thats not so important - finetuning the speed and such can come later.

I did get at the start a long-poll error for localhost and after that i just keep getting "Found Block for Pool 0" like every 3-5s.

Besides waiting - how do i know its actually working  and doing something.

Bitcoin GHAS renting and 0% fee stratum mining.

Check your wallet, and you will know if it is working.  Smiley
