Look at the whole picture of bitcoin from the past years. It's price was too much if you'll think about it. You may have seen it for awhile close to $20,000 and it's correction was normal and it has been set to $8,000 as its support price for this quarter. If it will take a years to recover, the question is that correction is hurtful to the new investors but look at the brighter side. Bitcoin is still high since before.

Lightning Network is in very advanced stage of development, there are already people making successful LN transactions on the mainnet. So I would say that, if things continue at this pace, Bitcoin will only get better.

In honesty, all that happens to bitcoin is dependent to us. If people are active towards it then it blooms and clicks but when people arent then it is in its downside. So if we want to keep bitcoin in the future then we better support it and advertise it more. Besides i think this is only a trial for bitcoin because of its unstability. Hopefully all people will still love bitcoin
