This might happen. There are chances to. In 2014, market took 2+ years to recover. This time also it would take that time or even more.

I believe that the market will turn in the near future this year. There is a lot of positive news, many countries that have banned ICO, have changed their decision and are ready for regulation. I think that the fall that we are seeing now is just a temporary manipulation of the big players.

I also believe that the market will grow on the background of positive news about the legalization of crypto currencies in different countries of the world and about strategic partnerships. Crypto currency is too progressive and innovative topic in order to be in a state of decline within two years.

Even though most of us believe (or rather hope ) that market will recover sooner than in 2 years, it would not be extremely surprising if it takes so long. It already happened in the past and the recent exponential growth was a bit crazy. But even now during the bear market, the development of the crypto-industry as a whole continues, which is important. I don't agree that's thought of yours because there is no way bitcoin is going to take that much time to recover as it is in far greater situate than what you looking at. The current drop is just normal and proportional to the things that are happening right now and it is not going to stay like that way forever. That's why bitcoin and other alts will change the course of their development sooner. Therefore they get chance to do so and thus will recover in faster way possible.
