You mean to say that in a minute the market can go from $6k to $20k. So soon i dont believe it, for the past some time the market was getting ready to recover but the short term traders immediately sell their investment as soon as the market bounce 20 to 30% which pulls back the market. So i think What OP is telling is almost true and this year their wont be much high price.

Crypto moves so fast I think a two year recovery is not realistic. I think you will see a recovery this year but this market will continue to have swings and have another drop after recovery. Stabilization of this market may indeed be two or more years away.
