Car for sale in London, UK. Contact via PM with questions or offers.

MOT until September 2014.
Tax until January 2014.
5 Speed Manual.
Mohair hood.
78k miles.

Replaced sills last MOT. Two of the most common problems with the (otherwise extremely reliable) MX-5 have therefore been fixed (vinyl hood replaced with mohair; sills repaired with new steel welded).

Service History
21/08/99 – 5,448 miles - Godfrey David Mazda, Nottingham.
19/08/00 – 11,516 miles - Godfrey David Mazda, Nottingham.
16/08/01 – 18,914 miles - Godfrey David Mazda, Nottingham.
07/02/02 – 25,235 miles - Godfrey David Mazda, Nottingham.
06/08/03 – 34,231 miles - Godfrey David Mazda, Nottingham.
27/07/04 – 43,790 miles - Morley Auto Services, Surrey.
19/12/05 – 53,310 miles - Drake & Fletcher Mazda, Kent.
10/01/07 – 63,185 miles - Dandy Cars, Essex. (MX5 Specialists).
05/12/07 – 70,015 miles - Colindale Mazda, London.
22/11/08 – 72,639 miles - Docklands Mazda, London.
12/12/09 – 74,749 miles - Docklands Mazda, London.
13/11/10 – 75,963 miles - Docklands Mazda, London.
25/08/12 – 77,004 miles - Docklands Mazda, London.
13/09/13 – 77,880 miles - Docklands Mazda, London.

I bought this because I wanted something fun and reliable, and it has been both of those things. I'm only selling it now as I have been using it only a few times per year because I need more seats!

The mohair hood looks fantastic, much better than the standard vinyl.

Other than the mohair hood and the replaced sills, the car is totally standard.

There are the usual dents and scratches from a car of this age. It does have two specific areas to flag though – one is a cluster of dents next to the right hand side wheel arch (hit and run while parked) – there was a large dent that I’ve had pushed out, but there are still a few small ones. It only affects the one panel, so you could just get that replaced (I never thought it was a big enough problem though – purely cosmetic). There is also a scratch on the bumper on the front left. You can see these in the photos.

Happy to answer any questions via PM.

Also happy to arrange viewings (and test drives if you have comprehensive insurance).

Bitcoin or bank transfer only please, as I will need to have the funds cleared when I sign over the car. Looking for £1,350 which translates to BTC11.3 at current rates.

I am open to reasonable offers on this - the starting price is just a guideline. It is road-ready and can be driven away today (if you are insured).

Bumping because I have had someone test-drive this today who is considering buying for £1,100 (about 8.6BTC). It probably won't be available much longer.
