Wow big difference in withdrawal costs and other fees including spreads at Exchanges.

Kucoin charged me 10% and Cryptopia 1% for a withdrawal!

I was shocked to realize I'd just been ripped off by kucoin severely.

Is there a site that someone has collected this info and kept up to date?

All exchanges are charging fixed fees for withdraws. They can't charge you 10% or 1%. It's fixed. But small withdraws are always costly.

This is why I'm trying to withdraws over 10 ETH and over 1BTC at a time, to minimize transaction costs.

There's not much need for a site. If you are attempting to arbitrage then make sure to check withdrawal fees before you do anything. Fees are almost always fixed and won't be a % of the withdrawal amount. Therefore small withdrawals always cost more in % terms.

I believe a lot of people would use a site that tracks withdrawal fees on exchanges, shouldn't be even that hard to do.

AFAIK bittrex charged 0.001 only for withdrawal , no matter how much . it's a good place to do arbitrage . It's just crazy when an exchange cost you percentage as a fee , I would avoid that kind exchange. And yeah altcoin fee much smaller , especially when you do dogecoin as arbitrage , you would charged super small amount as a fee.

I think you made a low amount withdrawal. For this, you said that was 10% and 1$. all exchange have fixed fees for withdrawal even low or high amount. Its also be 50% or more cost if you make a withdrawal 0.002 btc where the fee is 0.001btc . So always try to huge amount withdrawal then fee doesn't affect you I think. But it is right that some exchange is more costly in altcoin withdrawal

Exchanges usually charge a fixed coin fee not percentage fee. I check withdraw fees before I deposit on a site.

10%? Are you kidding me? How much it is in satoshis? Maybe you had calculated a wrong number or you withdrew a very low amount?

It is either 100k satoshis (which is mostly the case for exchange) or 50k satoshis when you are using SegWit address.
How come it will be 10% if you are to withdraw 10 million satoshis which is the number I use before withdrawal.

every exchanges set 0.001BTC~0.0005BTC(the majority) as their fees.
in some case you will see an exchange that set a higher than that like coinsmarkets.com(scam) which was charging 0.002BTC as their fees.

Yes, exactly exchanges charge a fixed withdrawal fee, i have never seen or known an exchange that charges % on withdrawal amount. maybe op is confused or did the math wrong?

I interpreted 0.1 as ten percent when I went to withdraw. So yes it probably was a mistake but I'm fractions person so 0.1 means 10% to me

Do not forget that there are a lot of people trying to scam newbies in the crypto world.. although an exchange would be crazy to do so, as nobody would use it..

Don't know from which aspect you got those figures but fee on both of the platforms were not based on % of amount you want to withdraw. If you are willing to withdraw small amount than you might end up paying more in terms of %.

Binance have lowered their fees recently and others are following same as network fee is very low compared to what we have on network congestion few months back.

Of course there are big differences on spreads between exchanges because they have their own market, about the fees, all of those cryptocurrency exchanges have a fixed withdrawal fees so where did you get those 10% and 1% fees? I think you are just being mistaken. Exchanges usually have 0.001 or 0.002 withdrawal fees so it is not possible that they will charge you in percentage of the amount of your withdrawal.

Coinjar have changed their policy on deposits, with a BPay which takes 2-3 days I now have to wait 7days to buy BTC elsewhere. That's 10days before I can buy other crypto coins.

Due to fraud and dodgy people they have changed this policy to 7 days until I give them documents verified by a Justice of the Peace.

This level of protection is a good thing but it slows things down dramatically.

Percentage as a fee wont really be an ideal thing to have specially if you are an active trader which do involve on big volumes of profits or trades.For small amounts then it would be a good thing since you would only pay small amount but when we are already talking on bulks im sure you would really be hesitant on paying up that fee.I do always prefer on fixed rates and for now i havent seen any sites or list that do differentiate exchange fees from one another.

I don't believe ant exchange can charge as much as 10% withdrawal fees/charge. Though I have never used Kucoin exchange but still no exchange can afford to charge such high fees in this competitive scenario. I think you got something wrong, they might be charging for something else or you had done some calculative mistake.
