Hello everybody, I would like to share our project with you in the objective of create a community about it and meet futur associates / collaborators.
Bridge X is the first payment gateway which permits the users to spend their cryptocurrencies on a day-to-day basis from a wallet which you detain the private key, allowing you to avoid having to trust a third party opaque institution to hold and manage your funds.
Our application / credit cardIn a first time trought our application as well as our virtual credit card, then also with your physical credit card, the user will be able to spend his cryptocurrencies in the everyday life.
To do this, he will have to transfer the cryptocurrencies of his choice on it's wallet related to our application which he will detain the private key to prevent any problem but also ensure a certain transparency towards our users.
In order to proceed a transaction, the user will have nothing more to do than hold cryptocurrency on his wallet and then use his phone to make a payment from an NFC*-compatible terminal (*contactless).
When a transaction is generated, the funds are automatically converted to BDG before being sent in fiat currency to the merchant who will not even realize that the transaction is from a cryptocurrency wallet.
Being aware that all services can't be paid by NFC process or through a virtual credit card on the internet, we also have the ambition to offer a physical credit card, payment method that we deem obsolete but extremely widespread at today.
Our goalsOur main goal is to facilitate the access and adoption of cryptocurrency by the general public in order to accelerate the expansion of blockchain benefits in the technological revolution that we have known for a few years now.
Our secondary objectives, are to create a reliable, secure and see-trought platform which is listening to it's users and the most decentralized as possible through the features presented above, among others.
The origin of the ideaThe idea comes from the difficulty we have in using our cryptocurrencies on a daily basis, today the best option is to exchange our cryptos for cash with a bank transfer.
What disturbs us with this procedure is summarized in three points, the time taken by a SEPA transfer is between 2 and 48h, but the time required for a transaction through our application is fractions of seconds.
The costs generated by this type of transaction is also relatively high. If you have altcoins for example, you will have to change them into bitcoin or ether before sending them to a platform which allows you to change your cryptos into fiat. Through our services, each transaction is composed of 0.5% of fees, plus 0.1% additional if the cryptocurrency you are paying with is not the one issued by our company (BDG).
The last point that is most important to us is that we do not want to trust banks or a third party company to use our cryptocurrencies or hodl and manage our money.
Here, you detain the private key of your wallet, and have the total control of your funds, which is a major advantage, and a feature which stick to the spirit of cryptocurrencies, the user remains his own bank.
