I have been using (Win10-64Bit-RV-AM4-Radeon-Software-Adrenalin-Edition-Q2-2018-May17) for my gaming pc/mining rig while still using the beta blockchain driver for 6 gpu dedicated mining rigs.

For dual purpose PCs, the Adrenalin driver is simply brilliant! I crossfire my sapphire nitro+ rx580s 8gb while gaming, go back to compute mode when I am done. However, when it comes to power consumption, these 2 cards are pulling 99w-100w each (msi ab) while mining at 30.4mh/s (Samsung memory) and on the other gaming rig 31.3mh/s (Hynix memory). The hashrate improved after upgrading to Claymore's miner v11.7 which is running on all rigs (gaming/mining).

When it comes to dedicated mining rigs, I think the beta blockchain driver is still the best option. Its very stable, each gpu consumes 85-90w (msi ab) while mining at 30.4mh/s with Clamore's v11.7.

I am downloading 18.3.4 now. Hoping to get better gaming performance with this.

Update: It sucks!

My pc is lagging, 2nd gpu consumes 130w (msi ab) for the first 1-2 hrs, then comes down to 99 (same as the first gpu). 2nd gpu's led flashes after every 5 seconds when idle, its just crap! going back to Q2 which is the most stable one I guess.

In the release notes they do mention this might decrease some blockchain performance.
Actually it says

Fixed Issues
  • Some blockchain workloads may experience lower performance than expected when compared to previous Radeon Software releases.

I tried today version 19.1.1. It gives lower hashrate, no fan control on Claymore 12.0 and latest Phoenix miner. I reinstalled AMD 18.5.1. drivers.
