I hate to say this ... But it was kind of obvious. He didn't even bother to make a website, just some Google spreadsheet. Easy money for him.

Glad,I only placed about .14 btc though.Definitely won't be gambling anymore and will stick to trying to mine exclusively.Next time it might be a good idea to use an Escrow.

I was paid back, it's unfortunate that I was the last Spreadsheet pyramids were all there were a month ago with almost no scams to be seen, so that previous experience got the better of me and I'm sure a few others as well.

I lost 8 BTC's total... But I knew the risk, and I've got a few of them laying around so it wasn't a problem

So no website = scam? When I first made mine it was with a google spreadsheet... and that's what everyone was doing it with for a long time.

Yeah, ok, you're right. I didn't know that fact. But it looked really sketchy to me, especially the phrase "some people will lose out, that's how it goes." threw me off.

some people will lose out, that's how it goes. Not sure why you would view that as sketch since it's the truth. Not everyone can win with these "games".

Haha, you have a few bitcoins lying around? That's sounds funny...I wonder how many "a few" is Yup... It's private, but there's a few in there some people will lose out, that's how it goes. Not sure why you would view that as sketch since it's the truth. Not everyone can win with these "games". Yup, you should always enter these games knowing you'll never get it back, then if you do, it's great!

Yeah, but you usually expect that it's not over at the third level already. I don't know, it just struck me as particularly sketchy, it's just a gut feeling I had. It seemed to me like an explanation beforehand that he could use after he ran with the money. "You know, 3 guys got paid and not everybody can win, so ... tough luck for the rest of you!"
