The main point is to tackle the idea of new referall that doesnt come back after one or two free claims and with this, some of those lousy referall might stick for a few days instead of just few claims  . I used to have quite a bit of referall back in 2016-2017 that stick for quite some time before they never active again iirc but compared with nowadays, those new referalls only stays for few claims then gone

It is not really completely passive. You are risking your money and if you didn't take the necessary security adjustments or the website gets hacked (i know it didn't happen before but never say never) you may lose all your coins.

If you keep your coins in a cold wallet, then unless your keys get stolen from you, they will never disappear, but they will neve grow satoshi-wise neither.

I am not saying to move all your coins to freebitco. I have only certain amount of bitcoins transferred to freebitco on which i am happy to get some interest. Also freebitco is a trusted site so it won't scam you. You cannot control the site hacking as every site is vulnerable to hack, even binance or coinbase where people store large amount of their money.

You're certainly right, but if you were using a dice for your client seed would you be ok to use a loaded dice?

It is not cloud mining. Cloud mining is a scam in disguise, do not trust sites which say that they do so to make money and paying its investors, it is an MLM/ponzi scheme.

What freebitco.in offers is a option to keep coins in your wallet and get a 4.08% returns PA as long as it the amount deposited is over 30k satoshis. What is done if that they are mining and the profits are used to cover this payment. It is like an interest payment system of banks where you deposit money and get a fixed rate return. You can opt out of this option too in the "Profile" page if you dont wish to received the payment.

The owner and the site here are legit and trustworthy but the inherent risks that mining carries are still there, so I guess they have some method to mitigate these risks to keep the average payment made.

In an ideal case, an achievement system for doing free rolls, playing the dice, playing the lottery, placing bets can be created. In this way, maybe more and more members will not only do the free rolls, but will also spend their satoshis on other parts of the site. This could maybe compensate for the extra reward points that would be given out.

I have a successful referral base in one of the sites I gamble at but it is only because of luck I guess,,, I did not do anything very special or promote it more than normal, just make it visible. And I have to admit it has been much more lucrative than I imagined. I needed just 1 big roller to make my first $100 (pure referral) and to find a second one within a year makes me even happier.

I would never be able to earn that on my own on interest:)

My suggestion will not cost Freebitco.in a cent, you just need to tweak the system to accommodate a feature that would help users to reward their referrals to stay longer. The current system adds Satoshi's to the best referral, but he will not even know where it is coming from.. because it is configured from the senders side with no explanation.

Let the users pay for the rewards from their income from their referrals. (The more the referral use the gambling side, the higher the income for Freebitco.in) .... also improve communication between the users and their referrals. (push send messages to motivate them)
