Hi there, recently I bought a biostar TB250-BTC for setting up a new rig. Before I start configure GPU, I didn't connect any and try to set it up with CPU only. But the PSU won't start at all after I switch it on, so I thought it is PSU malfunction so I try on my normal mobo but it can run flawlessly and boot it up.

Below are my setup:
1. TB250-BTC
2. Intel Celeron G3930
3. 4GB DDR4 Ballistix ram
4. Sandisk 120GB SSD
5. Cooler Master V1000 80gold series PSU
6. power directly from wall socket

FYI, I had tried with 2 newly bought TB250-BTC which is the same and it won't boot up and it seems like PSU can't detect it. So I give it one last chance and bring my PSU to my office IT guy for checking. As expected, it can perform as usual.

Other solution I did try was the 24pins for power up the TB250-BTC, I tried with the paper clip just for checking purpose. The other molex connector and cpu connector were plugged in to psu, switch it on and the psu can run without any issue and the cpu fan which connected to the TB250-BTC is spinning.

I assume the Mobo is okay as I already tried on 3 TB250-BTC (2 newly bought, 1 replacement from previous newly bought) but the psu seems like still can't detect it.
Here is my image on where did I connected to each other, red represent the wire connected to PSU, while green is the parts as setup 2,3,4.

Any expert have any idea where did I miss or do it wrongly?

That pc is not bitcoin mining hardware,

you need to go to the mining altcoins section --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=160.0

I asked mods to more this to alts coins

your mobo  should not turn on id you turn the psu on.

unless  the bios has been set to turn the board on  when you click the  psu on.

what most likely is wrong is this mobo's bios  is not set to power up when you apply power from the psu.

and the other mobo's were set correctly in the bios.

many of us have these and attach to the power pin

your photo does not show all of the mobo  there is  a way to the  power pins on.

give me time to get  a photo for you

once the mobo power up  you can set the bios to run correctly and you won't need the pin switch
