It was just announced that Twitter has confirms ban on crypto ads starting from today. It follows the steps took by FB earlier.
Google is going to do so in June.

Is there any effect to us?
And what should we do aside of keep calm and do not rushed into panic selling?

We gotta fight for this. But how?
What's your opinion?

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Dude you're so late with the news. Than ban should NOT be a problem. Not even a bit. All the scams getting removed is a very good thing.

Don't put any money into the contemptible shite that depends on these types of ads and you're golden.

In case you hadn't noticed Bitcoin still lorded over everything without one single advertisement.

What's the reason for the panic? I think you exaggerate the meaning of Google, Facebook and Twitter in our lives. I am sure that the people of this ban will not notice. When you see ads for anything you try to read reviews. For this reason, people go to bitcointalk before investing in any project. What will change if people don't use Google?

Is there any effect to us?
And what should we do aside of keep calm and do not rushed into panic selling?

of course this news will affect the price of coin-coin.
for a better step, how can we calm down and think positively about cryptocurrency and remain confident in supporting cryptocurrency.

We gotta fight for this. But how?
What's your opinion?

the way to fight for men is to please positive thinking and do not be too hasty to sell your assets just because of such negative issues

For us it's a good thing to reduce some ICO scam that plague crypto world right now.But for the people who don't know what crypto is,maybe they will take this a wrong way and assume that all crypto are bad.Now it's depend on us to inform people that not all crypto are bad,it's just that some people taking advantage of crypto name to make some scam that rob people of their money.

We have to fight for what man , this is not a problem if social media is banning crypto ads , anyway more than 50 % of those ICO and tokens advertising in Facebook and Twitter are totally a scam , maybe it is a good thing to stop promoting scammers in those media . So no need to make a drama for this situation because it will never affect on bitcoin world anyway .

It could be a good thing. Instead of letting yourself be swayed by different ads in different place, you can go to the legit place and see the read, genuine ads, which is here, on the forum.

The problem is people mix the endless altcoin scams out there with Bitcoin. As a Bitcoin holder, why the fuck should I be bothered with this? if people holding Bitcoin dump it because of news like this, then these people never deserved to hold Bitcoin to begin with, which means it's good news since we are losing all the losers that are carrying most likely during the FOMO periods in which idiots see Bitcoin in the news and start buying it for no reason other than it going up, same goes for other cryptos.

This is completely irrelevant for Bitcoin and it only has an impact on those wanting to sell ICO scams, and those wanting to do legit ICO's which will unfortunately be removed from any further advertising on FB or Twitter or Google Adsense, so they will have to resort to other ways to advertise their projects.

Only sponsored links only has been banned buddy. Still in these both the medium crypto related ads has been shown. As per search Google pulls the data and showing the ads in Google search and Youtube advertisement.
I am 100 percent sure they will not ban the ads in any medium. That gives the income for them so that would not be touched at all.
May be they comes with the limitation in sponsored advertisement dude.

All these messages do affect cryptocurrencies. When people read these messages, they will be hesitant to invest in crypto. The banning itself does not harm bitcoin, but investors are scared off. This is just creating FUD and that's causing the price to drop. Of course it's okay to stop scams advertising on these social media, these are the bad apples that should be eliminated.

Hahaha yeah u might right. The redactional style used in those news I read about the bans are quite confusing. Some says it focused on attacking the scams, while the others said it is implemented generally. And as u know, the more confusing the informations we receive, the more potentials to lead into panic attack. Thanks for your enlightment. Smiley

Are you an active ICO participant or you plan to creat an ICO? I do not understand what kind of effect it is going to have on you, OP, besides that you are going to be more safe from participation in different scam projects. You should to be thankful that someone is thinking about your and you financial security. And of course I doubt that it is going to have any affect on bitcoin's price, it simply has nothing with this ban.

no need to worry! All these restrictions are temporary! Of course, it's not very pleasant that social networks prohibit advertising of the crypto market! but there is good news: more and more countries are opening their doors and starting to take bitcoin and crypto market!

It's old news, but it's okay

I think it's actually good, man. We don't need noob people on it. Ads will attrack wrong people, people that think if they buy 1BTC they'll get rich next day and can cash it out.

We just need investors and new technologies.

It is true that cryptocurrencies depend undeniably on the Internet in all aspects, but neither Facebook, Twitter nor Google have been able to control Internet despite their vain attempts to monopolize the network and the growing influence they have developed as controllers and manipulators of information and social interactions.

But given the growing loss of credibility of these social networks, I think that deep down it seems to me that not only the thriving crypto economy will be able to survive these bans without any problem, but I even think they do us a great favor by getting away from us.

The bad effect may just exist, especially for new users and to those who just got to know cryptocurrency.

Panic selling has absolutely nothing to do with the ban on crypto advertising. However, if that's true some do it, that means he's so stupid !.

The good thing about it is that there will be reduction of too many different cryptocurrency ads in which there are many scams. The plague that these scam cryptocurrency spread also affects bitcoin since it is also part of a digital currency and since bitcoin has the most attention of them all because of that people are now also starting to doubt bitcoin. There is nothing we can do unless those scammers in holding bitcoin are reduced or totally gone.
