Hi.

I am new to this forum and also bitcoin. Is it to late for me to jump on this bitcoin train now?
The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Depends on what Hardware you have to mine. But probably it's not worth it for you to mine Bitcoin.

I suggest you check out http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/ to see if it's worth it for you to buy hardware.

Mining some scrypt altcoins may be way more profitable for you, so take a look at them (Novacoin, Litecoin,..).

Hi,

Too late? Depends, but rather yes (especially if you intend to mine bitcoins with cpu/gpu).
Note the other current thread dealing with the same subject.

Cheers, pm

For mining? Yes.
Investing into Bitcoins directly might still be very profitable (but obviously it's also risky).
