The SetupMasternodes team did a little comparison chart with all due respect to both Organizations.

We really respect the GIN team and their developments for making a coin that people can use to deploy Masternodes. The concept is great. With the exception of one down fall.

Below is an opinion of the GIN platform and the use of it as a currency to a service.

Summary:
People need to buy and own GIN to deploy Masternodes. In our opinion, you generally have to pay a premium to own a coin that just released in the sense that it may or may not hold its value. There is a chance that GIN can Sky rocket or tumble in value in either the short term or the long term. This is true with any coin, but what is unique about GIN’s platform is that you have to take double the original Masternode investment risk. You are forced not only to own the collateral coins for your Masternode, but to own GIN as well. Where as if BTC was a valid payment option, that risk radically declines because we a general idea of what 1 BTC is worth today and what it may be in the future.

In our opinion - Pegging a brand new crypto coin to use it (without stability and track record to hold value) can really cause problems on the market, and can hurt the organization on the long term.
