Angel list released an article on how to get a blockchain job within the growing blockchain space. The report points out that jobs are popping up like crazy even for “non-techies”. Crypto related job posts have risen by more than 100 percent over the last six months. The hiring market for cryptocurrency-based technology remains relatively bullish.

Blockchain positions pay way better.
Job positions working with blockchain also pay better. What a great incentive for anyone looking to start a career in this revolutionary tech endeavor. Plus a lot more jobs are available nowadays. On average employees are being offered salaries 10-20 percent higher than non-crypto jobs can offer.

Good news for non-techies.
Career-seekers who prioritize flexibility should take note that blockchain-based startups are 22 percent more likely to offer remote positions. Expertise in blockchain is not quite required for non-technical jobs like marketing and operations. But we must strongly point out that the report does indicate that potential employees should understand the concepts and terminology.

There’s always the intern option for those who are not quite willing to commit to a career in cryptocurrency.

Yes, we have a number of interns as well every six months. – Brian Armstrong (CEO of Coinbase)

Just consider working in FinTech as a blockchain developer or marketing agent if you’re looking for a change. There’s always a future in technology.

Most promising skill to learn within blockchain space is smart contract coding in ETH as this will increase your chance of getting hired by any new Startups that want to run ICO on ETH. There are thousands of new ICO popping up everymonth and as a smart contract developer you chance of getting hired by one of them will be quite high. Also you will be paid handsome amount both in crypto and its own token and you can work from home, no need to travel.

Indeed. Blockchain and crypto related job opportunities are skyrocketing.  The interest and demand for workforce in the industry is rising. Found a nice video report Interest in jobs surrounding cryptocurrency  What I find fascinating is that interest in jobs surrounding cryptocurrency are directly linked to the price of the digital tokens to a report from a leading recruitment website. However, the appetite for blockchain work seems largely unaffected.

Considering nothing blockchain related has ever made a profit and probably won't for years to come, how long are all these posts going to last? As long as the VC or ICO money lasts I presume.

If I were hunting for a job in this area I'd only really consider exchanges or gambling sites as they're only consistent earners. For everything else I'd expect my marching orders as soon as I'd furnished my desk.

Oh, we have yet to see those positions skyrocketing all over the world. I've already found a few companies looking for a person experienced in blockchain and that's quite surprising, to be honest. In a few years, every company/business will be using blockchain technology, so is that a new accountant? Grin

Good they should be and rightfully so!  As more and more people are finding out about this new technology, there will be more jobs and more of a demand for work.
News like this is music to my ears, and I'm glad we're all able to experience it.

Block chain technology talents have become a professional new high, with enviable high salary.

Blockchain personnel will follow the strong demand of the global market.

Many universities are also aware of this, and carry out blockchain courses!

Indeed. Right now, blockchain technology has an increasing demand. Many countries are trying to cope up with this new technology, even my country. The university I am involved is beginning to introduce blockchain technology to students. There were even seminars held regarding it, led by a local blockchain-driven company too.

Why is it sky rocketing? Simply because we are already living in the era of computers, mobile phones and tablets. The world is modernizing which is why stuffs related to IT are suddenly a blast.

Because many people are becoming aware of the power of ICOs and the ways to raise funds easily from investors of course that many startups are going to seek for blockchain developers. Thing is that blockchain development can mean many different things including but not limited to hyperledger frameworks, solidity and ethereum development and smart contract development of many different blockchains. Since this is relatively new field it comes as no surprise to see the high salary offered to those who are able to program.

The truth about job opportunities related to Blockchain and crypto is skyrocketing. People can spend all their time, effort and money on this market. But there is also a division that only spends a bit of capital and joins the market on rest  days, or after their main hours of work ... All people learning about this market are excited about Many opportunities but also know and willing to accept risks that may occur.
In the future I think Blockchain and crypto technology will be used more widely in all areas.

I think there is a big difference between full-time Blockchain developers and the odd ICO expert that are needed to help in the

creation of a new ICO token. The ICO jobs are short term contract work and not really beneficial to Bitcoin, but we should not

complain about that. A job is a job, no matter what it is... right? Our BTC developers should not participate in these ICO projects,

because they are direct competition for Bitcoin.  Angry

Good news that there are many job opportunities for us Grin But it is still difficult for them to hire the experts. What they find mostly are novices with certain "certificates".

I dont know, for me this is too techies to deal with since my knowledge that I have learn here wre not enough for me to include myself in the very complicated part of this platform,I think one of the moat complicated things, but I am very willing to learn but the people who offers free education regarding this things were limited and usually far away.

This was expected since people were going to get early movers advantage. Just like jobs skyrocketed when computer was launched, in the same ways jobs are going to skyrocket for this technology. Wait for banks to use blockchain in their system and we would see even more surge in the number of job opportunities for the people.

Same happened with Android Developers as well. Back then, the people who could code in Java for Android were hired for pretty great salaries. Also the people who learnt digital marketing at early age have made a fortune from freelance portals like upwork.

There are lots of demand in the market especially for techies who are well conversant with the technology running Blockchain. we always knew that that is a gap in the crypto sphere and the  early are currently reaping huge. The most sought after skills are coding especially one involving smart contracts
