Glitch when I run ./litecoin-cli getinfo

When I run ./litecoin-cli getinfo (I'm setting up a pool) it says 0 blocks. How do I make the block numbers go up? It says "deprecation-warning": "WARNING: getinfo is deprecated and will be fully removed in 0.16. Projects should transition to using getblockchaininfo, getnetworkinfo, and getwalletinfo before upgrading to 0.16", I'm using an old guide https://blockgen.net/setup-your-own-mining-pool/#comment-762 Please provide SPECIFIC steps
