Wow...Ether is basically at November's prices...do you think we will dip under 400 usd? At the same time, a lot of Ether based alts are actually holding their ground. Now THIS, I don't think I have seen before.

Usually, these alts follow the general market trend and/or BTC but even during the times BTC was relatively stagnant, if Ether went down, they followed the trend.

So what can be the explanation for what's happening now? Thoughts?

Well it did dip below $400.  A lot of people I know where planning to buy it at $340 and it never made it that low.  I bought it at $400 and I'm happy with that.

A lot of banning related to ICO project and cryptocurrency announced by the biggest social networks on the internet, I think it the main reason why ETH price and almost other altcoin price dumped so hard atm. ICO project develop depend on ETH blockchain, these news affect to ICO project and ETH will be affected as well.

If the banning of crypto-free ads is really blocked by social media platforms, things that will happen will definitely make the price of digital currency decline further.

i think 400$ is the lowest prices for ETH because if it decreases more than this mining will not be affordable. so it is in the floor and can raise more in next days.

i think 400$ is the lowest prices for ETH because if it decreases more than this mining will not be affordable. so it is in the floor and can raise more in next days.

And I believe that the course will not rise very strongly up to any specific news. For example, the failure of the ETH system from mining and the transition to POS. Yes, it will not be soon, but with such profitability even with the current course, the ETH earners have a hard time.

some governors like to kill crypto but i think they could not do it because many people live in this market. some news like ICO's banning news is the main reason of ETH dumping, but i hope that market will be stable again.

We would really possibly hit up or break up the previous ATH when another bull run happens and for those who buy on 400+ price will really benefited.

I dont think so. It might really reduce cryptocurrency ads exposure but we do know that legit projects would still remains and stood strong on where there are still lots of ways to advertise on where they can able to spread awareness and such regulation doesnt really mainly affect at all.
