Are you surprised at the price of ETH? what is the reason?

ETH has also unperformed like bitcoins this year. I am still hopeful that it will reach $3000 by the year end. This means about 6-7x returns in 8 months which is quite good.

I dont usually get shocked or surprised with the values of other cryptos but i cant beleieve that eth had dropped hard and it may seem stuck for a long time up until now. i dont know if there is someone behind this or it is only a manipulation? maybe yes , maybe not? but my hopes is still strong and i beleieve that eth can still recover and climb again back to its suggested retail value. overall i would say that im really surprise to the curent value of eth but right now we cannot do anything about it other than waiting

To be honest, I am not really tha surprised. You know why? It is because back when I first entered cryptocurrency, Ethereum’s price was at between $200 to $400 last year. I know that the market is highly speculative, so either it will go bearish or go bullish. The highest that Ethereum got so far was above $1,200, and decreasing their price is somewhat a good opportunity for us to buy at lower prices.

Simple reason is the price of bitcoin itself. Whatever we may say but bitcoin is surely the barometer of the whole crypto market. So if bitcoin will get huge corrections then ofcourse other cryptos too will get corrections largely. Its not only about ETH this time each and every currency has lost its value by around 70-80% and ETH is no different from them. But there is only one thing that is dubious. ETH is support for all main tokens and we have seen that number of new upcoming tokens has considerably increased and despite of that ETH is going down this surprises me the most.

I'm not surprised at all. I remember ETH below 10 dollars and it was high price for me. Ethereum is interesting and improving project but still no applications came out, except of testing cryptokitties. If you think that they will scale in the future, price now is very low.

Not really, It is down the same percentage as Bitcoin is down from its ATH and most other altcoins. This is crypto markets we are talking about, anything can happen here. The crazy part is what attracts me to it. But Eth is a coin with very strong fundamentals and will recover much faster than other coins.
