If you know how to handle tools then 3-5 meters of 20x20 T-slot or V-slot aluminum profile plus some screws and brackets, couple hours of work (incl. cutting to size) - and you're all set.
yep; agreed. I have a bunch of aluminum c and L channel stock, and a riveter. I am just too damned lazy and want something with less headache myself Lazy I can understand, I'm lazy myself, too But on the other hand paying $180-200 for something that costs $40-50 to make, especially this simple, helps fight laziness If you are paying anything much over $100 then you are paying too much. I just scored another Veddha v3c on ebay for $57 shipped. That puts me to 4 of them and 2 stacked will cover one Asus B250 Mining expert motherboard and 13 GPU's and even more if you can find P106 cards. I'm not paying even $100 as I prefer to assemble my 8 card rigs myself. What kind of man can't handle an angle grinder and a screwdriver?

One that does all his own vehicle maintenance from tranny rebuilding, PCM diagnosis, Brakes to engine rebuild along with ALL home maintenance including roofing, HVAC install, repair, maintain and someone that owns 5 acres and has more important things to do than piss around trying to "save" $50. Time is worth money to me. Id rather be fishing or hunting than nickel and diming life to death. Who does all your stuff while you are pissing away time over $50?

You can find a lot of nice frame on ebay https://www.ebay.com/sch/Miners/179171/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=frame&_sop=15But it all depands on what you want to get and what money you can pay for it, the quickest way is to find a local "gold hand" person who will made such frame for you and then you will decide what exacly you want and how much money you can pay for him for this work( i made it this way, cause i wanted to be made good with solid and stable frame to pick and move anytime i want)

It's not about pissing away time, it's doing something enjoyable and not time consumable. Being busy with all the roof and tranny stuff you might not realize that, besides I doubt you enjoy rebuilding transmissions. I certainly don't, unless it's a sequential gearbox I have on my rally car. But cars are offtopic here

I used extruded aluminium rod (T-slot). Its strong, sturdy and can be built with just an allan key. The slots allow easy fitting of attachments and joiners such as feet, handles, hinges, fans etc. Most suppliers will cut your order to size if you dont have an angle grinder. As no drilling or riveting is needed, you can take the rig apart to extend or modify very easily. https://ibb.co/bQ35sHhttps://ibb.co/iv8kRc

I build mine out of wood every time.
32mm X 12mm and it costs £4 in materials + £0.50 in screws and glue.
That way I can easily modify where each GPU is positioned to without the need of heavy duty machinery.
