Hi there,

Just wanted to tell you about an ICO CellBlocks. It is a project which aims to provide a payment system to inmates. With the adoption of CellBlocks the followings would be obtained:
  • Fewer Fees and Lower Costs
  • Accurate Transaction Records
  • Inmate Wallet IDs
  • Giving Control Back to the Inmates

Do not forget to DYOR before investing.

Kind regards,

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Kind regards,

I skimmed through the whitepaper.  If it is true that there is actual interest by prison/jail officials in multiple states then this program has potential  It already has merit for the problem it is trying to solve.  Our penal institutions should not be profit centers for private corporations.

That jackass of a Sheriff that was able to legally buy a $750,000 vacation home with funds that were originally intended to buy food for inmates is a prime example.

The idea behind the project is good, somebody may even call it noble.

BUT the niche is too narrow for investment, compared to other ICOs.

You got the point. I am really impressed that somebody came out with a solution to cure a real life pain. This is definitely a profitable investment by the way. I am sure this system will be mass adopted than any other crypto project when the total population of world and prison systems are considered separately.

You might be right but there is a potential lies behind the idea. I believe most of the inmates would adopt this system faster than any other crypto project to be adopted by masses. As a result, the profits would come fast. This makes me feel like  the project would be a multiplier in a short time.

What?  Do we all have to wait till it becomes a proven model for us to invest in things?  That's when its to late.  If you got bitcoin for .001 per coin you would be rich now, this is just another new arena for the block change.  They are not seeking 10,25 or 50 million.  Just enough to get the project going then they have a working model.   They have met with some states and have letters from wardens and inmates.  This is the real thing, it's just like investing in a pharmaceutical company just before they get FDA approval.   If you think about the project, you can see the need for it.

Would need to research more on the current inmate economy and the possibility of real-world application of a system as proposed by cellblocks. Also need to case studies on proposed economic models to tackle inmate monetary problems. DYOR
