The price of Bitcoin is too voliate to be even considered as a currency. Take for example,the value of Bitcoin has experience drastic daily change of almost 5-10% in value.On the other hand,the most frequently traded forex pair USD/EUR had only a daily change of less than 0.9% a day and bardly changed 10% over a month.The common people do not want investment denominated in a currency which value can changed by almost 50% to 90% in a month

I also think so, but many of the other people's concerns make me a pessimist. Indeed crypto will not be destroyed, but if the market is stuck like this, it will create fear to investors or newcomers.

If the market will be like 2014 we probably will see $150 billion market cap and stay there for years untill 2020 and the we will see marketcap going through 1 trillion after halving and if there is  amazing coin again like ethereum. We will see bitcoin break $50k at 2021 and ethereum $5000. Thats just my prediction.

I think this big dump is caused by the crazy ico market a few month ago, when a lot of ico projects raised a lot of money easily, and recently they are selling these coins and make the market is a stressful situation, many panic coin holders are selling their coins followed by them, after they sold out, the market will recover soon.

The fact is that in the last year of 2017 there was not such a huge offer on Bitcoin on the market. a This indicates that this year we may not see the same maximum value of Bitcoin as it was last year. one to two trillion of the total market cap for cryptocurrency is so much to predict this 2018 and not everyone is going to have a conclusion of that prognosis, how sure you are that the market cap will drop for a specific range of price? how accurate is your magic 8 ball to further prophesy the price, it is undeniable that the bloodbath shed tons of money from the community but it never fails to bounce back from the market dumps, the risk is still at stake but the reward will always be seen after the risk.

I do not think the crypto market capitalization will decrease. We find that the popularity of the crypto market is increasing rapidly. This means that the user community and investors are very close to crypto.
