So no eta at all about the solution of the problems?

Also, the service went down while i was playng, when it will return available, i will have my last balance updated to the latest bet that i placed or there is a chance that the latest bet data are lost? i was in nice profit Smiley

Regarding an ETA, it'll be more than a few hours but less than a day. Wish I could be more precise.

Your bet data is safe and if you saw the result on the website then it was already recorded in the database, so congrats on the win Smiley

Update Time:

We have more details now about the nature of the problem.

All site operations (betting, stats, etc) run through our API server. On the test platform, the API server barely uses any CPU; yet on the production platform it was running 100% despite the production platform being far more powerful. According to the processing stats we have, requests were being processed extremely quickly (~60ms/call avg) on the production platform. So something else is amiss. The major difference between the test platform and production, is that production has several additional security layers. It must be some dynamic within these layers that has introduced a bug not discovered on testing.

Long story short, there is a problem with the production API server (likely a problem with how the code is written, not the physical server itself). We have two excellent developers on this right now who are working as fast as possible to isolate the bug and resolve it.

Will post another update in several hours and assess an ETA then. Based on this ETA, we'll get user deposits returned. Thank you for your continued patience, we've had some really kind PMs and the community support is heartening Smiley

Bets placed through blockchain.info appear to be on hold as well.  None of the satoshi dice address have paid out in quite some time...

hope this gets resolved soon

This was because the processing agent got stuck (happens occasionally). It's now back and processing the backlog. All is well (with the old SD at least Smiley )

It's almost 24h Smiley .

It would be great if because of this delay, you'll be able to re-start the promo from the beginning Cheesy . That's just an idea though. Smiley

Update Time:

Our new server is set up with all services ready. Blockchain is syncing which will take a while (damn satoshidice!) The API server is running much better in the new environment. Once the blockchain is synced, the components will be brought online, tested internally by us, and then opened to the wild. If we see gameplay happening smoothly, we'll post here to inform that Tribute is back in business.

And to reiterate, all deposits are safe. All account/session activity is preserved from when you were playing before and will be in the same state you left it.

ETA: 9-12 hrs

Thank you guys.

Honestly this is becoming embarassing.

People (like me) read on the forum about the launch of the new satoshidice platform, decide to play and get their funds trapped for 48 hours.

The updates are all the same "just few hours, just few hours", but already 48 hours passed.

So, is possible to have the real point of the situation?

nice idea with the tribute system though.

is it right that the top 3 players are resetted daily?
Are there any results from the first day how many tribute they received?

thank you in advance!

Satoshi Dice = fail

with their lame house edge of 1.9% compared to other dice sites offering 1% i have no idea why anyone would want to play there.
