I'm currently driving an old Vectra B 1.6i 16V which spends around 8L/100 km.

I started thinking of going home from college more often where I drive 600 km home and 600 back to campus so I started searching for cars with low fuel consumption.

One of the best cars I found was Ford Focus 1.5 TDCi which spends around 3L/100 km (declared) but in reality (reported by people) 4.5L or so which is quite decent.

Do you know some cars that spend under 5L/100 km in reality (not the declared consumption)?

I advise you to use the BMW 320d, the BMW 320d is a luxury sedan car equipped with a modern diesel engine with the latest BMW technology, and of course the sophistication of this car can increase power while improving fuel efficiency.

Love, it, a really great car

But a lot above my target budget

If your looking for an economic car with a low fuel consumption, I suggest look into Toyota WIGO 2018 model Gen 2

Fuel consumption: 6.3L/100 km

Not very effective for a 1.0 petrol engine and such a small car

I'm currently driving an old Opel Vectra which spends 7L/100 km on an open road and it has a 1.6 16V engine, and it's just a year younger than I am  Cheesy

issuing 268 HP of electrical power. Not only that, in testing, Nissan Bladeglider does not take long to travel speed 0 - 100 km / h, it's 5 seconds to achieve it. The maximum speed that can be reached, can only reach 190km.jam.

1. Nissan Note e-Power
2. Lexus LS 500 hL
3. Mercedes Benz 350e Plug in Hybrid
4. Toyota Alphard Hybrid

I don't need to go more than 190 km/h, that's fine for me Smiley

You're thinking of the 2018 releases of these cars?

Oh come on man

Don't write cars that cost 70 grand  Cheesy
I can't afford that!
I'd rather buy an apartment with that kind of money, or BTC  Cheesy

Your list is to expensive for me :S

So, I see no help here?  Cheesy

Seems like the VW Polo 1.4 TDI has a 3.8L/100 km declared consumption but dunno how much it spends in reality

Doesn't have a 6th gear but as I see his 5th gear is longer than some 6th gears on the market
Apparently, driving 130 km/h will be only 2400 rpm
Which is magnificent

Could probably get a 2014 used model for some 7k$ or so.

You can try Smart or Peugeot 107. I guess even Volkswagen uses less that 5L

Daihatsu Ayla car also became one of the cars marketed in Indonesia with a fairly cheap price. Daihatsu Ayla car also has an efficient advantage in the use of fuel oil .

I had a Toyota Prius. It consumed consumes 4.5 - 5 l/100 km of track, depending on the place of driving. For me, this is the best car in terms of fuel economy

Toyoto Camery saves a whole lot of fuel. I have used the car for long and it consumes lesser fuel.

You can always go for a Toyota Prius or an Aqua if you really concern about fuel economy
