No, no tokens needed. They will be useful, of course, but tokens are too complicated for the average person to think about.

We will not market ourselves to the crypto community. Our focus is the average, everyday person who has some experience with internet and/or mobile phones. That's our market.

The Success of Goodomy Entirely Depends on the Efforts of Ambassadors and Other Users

Goodomy is designed to be a platform that distributes economic power to its user base, comprised of everyone from GOOD token speculators to the everyday consumer. This economic power is derived solely from one's use of the GOOD token to access Shopomy, OTOL, or other components of the Goodomy ecosystem.

The success of the Goodomy project (or Shopomy, OTOL, etc) does not depend on me or the other developers or management team at all, but users. This is what Retail Mining (Shopomy) and Concept Mining (OTOL) are all about. The power of GOOD comes from its users to do the actual work and grow it, making it successful.

Further, there is no economic gain to be had from holding the GOOD token. A GOOD token is not an investment, but a way to access the features of the Goodomy ecosystem that you can use to extract economic value from your own efforts. This value does not rely at all on the efforts of myself or the rest of the Goodomy team.

Every user of Shopomy will be a GOOD Ambassador in some form, promoting use of the Goodomy platform and making it a success.

My role is simply to make the software that this mechanism runs on as solid as it could be with the resources we have, and to build an all-star, full-time team to support users once we have an actual product up and running and to be a part of that team for as long as humanly possible. The rest is up to you!

Goodomy's new 'retail mining' app, Shopomy, will begin final testing in less than 1 week

It's been a long and exciting road to get our flagship product, Shopomy, ready for launch.

Development in winding down and we will begin final testing in approximately one week. We will also be expanding user acceptance testing efforts before release, and performing any bug fixes.

The official due date is a comfortable May 24. However, I am leaving a nice cushion in case there are any major issues.

I'm very excited for this release. If you've used the alpha version of Shopomy (released in December) this version is light-years ahead. There are a lot of useful features and I'm happy to report that they are all working together nicely.

Note that rollout will be quiet for the first few weeks as we monitor for bugs and performance issues. We want to make sure that the product is as solid as it can be for the resources that we have, for as many people as possible.

A team is nothing without results, and the best result for a new project is an actual product.

There's myself (involved in crypto for more than 4 years now, posting here for nearly 4 years; creator of the first true ICO) and a few others who aren't directly involved in crypto. We'll release an actual product first then expand the team with full-time, salaried staff after. As we'll be more consumer-focused, we will probably follow the way of other consumer companies and just list management on the website rather than everyone.

Yeah, it's a good decision not to list your token from that shit exchange, I have some experience like on what they said on that article, Kucoin is stealing our balance and even if you enable the google authenticator, your e-mail will keep you sending notices that someone with different IP has been logging in to your account, that happened to me twice, I changed my password but it happened again. Damn that exchange.

Shopomy is being tested now.

It will be public next week, most likely. There will probably be no announcements.

We will begin in 3 major cities around the world. My personal goal is to have 850 active users by the end of the month.

At least browsing in the app should not ask for phone number.

It was designed so that each user has a SMART account already, when they log in. Most times, 1 phone number = 1 user, so this helps to prevent cheating and abuse.

Without a phone number users would miss the most essential feature of the app. Nobody cares about listings by themselves. There are plenty of other apps that do that. People want the meat, which is the SMART account that makes the listings meaningful.

I'll put up some screenshots in a few days when we go live.

Curious. What would the benefit of SSL on Goodomy.com be? It's just a simple website. The warning you are getting is because the certificate is issued in the name of the host, but the website itself doesn't use SSL. If you know of an https link to Goodomy please let me know.
