Nope.... 10K Chips @ 730 BTC vs 10k Chips @ 100 BTC....
When they were asking 730BTC, the bitcoin price quote was 75€ = 55k€, now they ask 100BTC, the bitcoin price quote is 150€ = 15K€, we know that TSMC does not accept payment in BTC, 40k € difference in one batch? They are laughing in our face ...

Yes they are laughing and what is even funnier is no matter what negative feedback there is many greedy ASS SOBs who would sell their own mother will order the chips and say "Its business"

I don't think anyone has to worry about those chips selling. The probability of people bidding on them is low unless, somehow, someone 4 weeks, or more, looked in their crystal orb and decided to buy the PCBs to manufacture these ... lol There was exactly no information given ahead of time for people even to prepare for a chip sale. Are people supposed to pull PCBs, and components, out of their asses

People were really responsible for sourcing their own PCBs and other components for that? I really thought they came pre-assembled. Please confirm? Are you trolling or something?

To be fair, ~2.1 BTC was a decent price for those miners IMO.

I was literally laughing out loud when I read that email, about $5000 USD for about 500Gh or so... that you probably wouldn't even get hashing for at least 2 months after you got the chips while you figure out boards and assembly. Wow, just wow. Are they even aware that you can buy a KNC 550GH/s Jupiter for November delivery for about the same coin? ASSEMBLED. Check link in sig. Maybe if they really need that for them, they shoulda just PMed everyone in the first AM blade auction, NDA secret squirrel special deal...

2 days left and still no bids at 6BTC less than they are selling in their store. Guess they didn't learn from their last auction that was also overpriced initially generating no bids. I predict another extension and lower minimum bid any moment now

It is up to them to try to see if there is a sucker to buy them. However, I was one of those who got his ROI with them, and I am satisfied.

May I ask why you are considering purchasing these chips over the Bitfury offerings ?

Woohoo, sounding like a real bargain now, by the time you spend about another bitcoin each on 30+ boards to get your chips running. At least clocked to the max you'll be getting about 7-800 GH from them for your ~$10,000 worth and 2-3W/Gh at the wall, instead of the measly 550Gh for $4995 and 1W/Gh at the wall. I'm seeing on the forum that there is now a 10% discount for BTC payments here, https://www.kncminer.com/?resellerid=233 but I can't see that on the site to confirm.

The power consumption alone means anyone with a brain should not buy these gen2 chips. We will reach the point soon where power efficiency will become important. After screwing everyone on pre-orders, it would be funny if Yifu got stuck with bad stock that no one wanted and he had to dump. Also, the 60Gh miners on tradehill went for a reasonable price because they were plug in ready to go. These chips require a significant amount of effort and extra cost to turn into miners. Just look at the debugging required for the K16s. Why would anyone take that risk for suboptimal chips?

Lol... nobody is bidding on them on tradehill. He will have to dump them sooner or later. I'll buy a reel at 5 BTC.
