Why so? Bitcointalk has a specific target audience and ICOs post their Announcements and hold bounties here on the forum to expand their project's community. If some tema feel they will do fine without the forum, they may not post on it.

I don't even need to look at their website to see that this project is trying to undertake too much. Their header reads "Apollo All-in-one Cryptocurrency".There is no such thing and any project trying to do it all, will fail flat on their face. Instead they should try focusing on one main aspect, but this is not the case here.

There are well-meaning teams working on raising funds through the ICO project and you can't be 100% certain that if a team does not to post on bitcointalk they're a scam.

However, if it's a conscious choice to avoid this forum it might be because they're trying to avoid criticism or can't save face when faced with questions. It'd always be recommended to any ICO team to at least try and have a presence in this forum. Bitcointalk is the heard of cryptocurrency communities. Everything crypto goes through here so if an ICO avoids this forum it leaves a bad taste in a potential investor's mounth.

If the concept is good and the team truly believe in their goals, then it'd make sense to focus their efforts in reaching the community through bitcointalk.

First of all, what does "cuz" mean? Stop making these shitty shorter version of a word. And to answer your question, sometimes many projects which start with a really strong team and huge private investors can launch their ICO without even announcing it on here. For example, there is EOS which is still in its ICO period and has been successful thus far. This forum is a huge community and maybe some ICOs try to stay away from this place to avoid being questioned by so many different people. Its up to you to do your home work on the ICO you want to get involved whether you see them announcing on this forum or not.

Not all of the ICOs here are legit ones, most the ICOs here are scams, and those ICOs that are not posted there doesnt mean they are scams doing a lot of research doesnt give you assurance that these ICOs are not going to scam people because even those ICOs that are looks legit are turning into scam.Doing research will only lessen the risk of getting involved with these scams so it means it doesnt give any immunity with these scams you cannot avoid these scams not unless these ICOs will be regulated.

Not all of the ICOs here are legit ,most of them are scams and you wont get any good outcome if you didndt do your own research.Do not rely to anyone's suggestions and those ICO review websites because they are getting paid too.Best thing you can to do lessen the risk of losing money is to deeply do your research, finding redflags with each ICOs you are planning to join.

even  the popular  ico analysis website like  ico bench and ico mark ??  u think  they get paid for  getting better notes ?

icos  started to look more risky than just pick  already existing coins in exchanges

hey i wonder if an ico does not post in BTT  should i avoid it  because it may be a scam ?

Most of the times. But you can't say that just because ICOs post on bitcointalk, they are definitely not scams either.

If an ICO doesn't even use bitcointalk as a platform for them to connect with their clients, then really they are either extremely inexperienced with bitcoin or want to actively hide something so that there is no possibility of any investigations carried out on bitcointalk. Of course there are exceptions, but you have to thoroughly research whatever you want to invest in before you actually do so.

However, as I've said, many scam ICOs also use bitcointalk to post their announcement threads, doesn't mean that they are legit.

Majority of the ICO i have seen to be legit have in one way or the other passed through bitcointalk forum. Even if the activities for the bounty campaign is not directly done on btt, the announcement will still be made here. An example of such that i participated in and that i found legit was CopyTrack. Most times, some ICO avoid btt forum in order not to get their scheme exposed, because the people here will question them. I see this forum to be a place of screening for most ICO. There are people here who will voluntarily do that without expecting any thing in return.

Definetly thats my thinking also, that those ICO,who should  not passes this BTT forum community is a scam, while in other hand even also, that some ICO passes this BTT community forum can make a scam, because there is no filtering panel that can make review in this forum  that all incoming ICO project  should be a legit and not ponzi,so that the reputation of this community still remain high and also to helps those new investor to be aware and save there capital from loosing.

many ICOs posted in bitcointalk are scam so it is posted or not they may have a chance of being a scam. but ICOs posted here that are scam have a higher chance of being exposed because people here do there research. if you doubt ICOs you can ask here in the forum i am sure someone will answer it.

Hi,

Some guys are so well known on social networks that they absolutely don't need for bitcointalk for their ICO

We could also take the example of TON...

Not always dude. Because there is some similar site like this forum, and also there are more ads media to promote ICO. But usually, most of ICO project create an announcement in this forum.
