List of Decentralized BTC/Crypto exchanges

Hello guys,

I am very interested in decentralized exchange concept. I've read a bit and I still don't know, which one is most developed and trusted decentralized exchange.

I am willing to maintain this first post as a list of p2p, decentralized exchanges. Please let me know of exchanges you heard about, gather some information or short note about it. I am interested in exchanges which allow me to exchange my BTC to something else and back. That would filter out ERC20 token exchanges and other weird projects.

These 2 are more like gateways on the bitshares network( https://bitshares.org/ ). There are other ones including RUDEX and others, that I personally haven't used. These gateways act as an central entity and you still have to trust them with your funds. You send them BTC for example and they will send you token on bitshares network called like open.BTC / brdige.BTC etc. where first name represent the name of the gateway (they usually name those tokens in that way). So basically these tokens should be backed up by 1:1 real other crypto and thus by they being tokens enable you to do trades on the bitshares platform. The flaw here is that open.BTC and bridge.BTC in this example are seen as 2 different tokens, so their volume is not combined but it is diversified, another one is that you still have some centralized entities. Honestly I don't see why they call themselves to be DEX as they are using existing bitshares platform, all in all the aim here is to be totally transparent so you can be sure volume and orders are true.
P.S. So once you register an account with crypto bridge you can use same account for openledger or any other gateway out there.

None of the products you linked is working, right? Either beta or "in development". I got, it, I can add that later to main post as well, in needed.

So right now, we only have 3 products:

Which are working today, as decentralized exchanges. Is that really it? Tell me if there is any more than that!

R-J-F put BarterDEX up there built by komodo platform devs. It is working exchange with low volume, thus it could be really slow to wait for your order to be filled etc. but what can you do since it is relatively new to the field. You can add it up to your list as you can trade different coins now there, their product is working right now.

And if you want to see these bitshares gateways as different exchanges, then can add these 2 as well: https://www.gdex.io/, https://rudex.org/index_eng.html

Of course that more exchanges are being built atm, but so far I don't know if there are more of them that are working. Many are raising funds via ICO + add on top that binance seems to be looking to develop their own. Will be interesting to see which new ones will get lunched this year as well as next year.

dexstats.info is just information page related to volume and other sorts of information. As far as I know you have to download their software and you are able to exchange any pair between any crypto that they support, for some you will have to have local wallet and for some electrum versions are available. So in reality you can trade lets say between comodo and litecoin without the need to convert to BTC and then trade, you can also do trades like ETH and LTC, PIVX and ZCASH etc. Though because their offer a lot of trading pairs it costs the volume in one sense that it is much easier to trade between cryptos if you have one to be in the middle that will have trading pairs against others because of higher volume. I wanted to test it out but after few days my order wasn't filled so I gave up until it picks higher volume.
