Be careful of fake Casascius coins. They are really are getting good at it. Its just a matter of time before they will nail it to perfection.

There is one listed on ebay that is a pretty good forgery

The FORGERY is on the LEFT and the real one on the RIGHT

Notice the N is too wide on the Forgery!

Different Font used too. Looks like the forgery is THINNER than the real one!

The lines too deep or more defined on the Forgery!

The background pattern is different on the Forgery!

                     No problem. It looks like that very same type of replica coin was sold at this auction

                     The buyer probably turned around and posted it as genuine to scam inexperienced buyers.

                     These fakes are pretty well done IMO and only the most discerning of collectors can recognize it for what it is, a forgery.

                     In time someone will come out with even better replicas, and we have to be more vigilant.

                      I for one will be monitoring ebay for any new Casascius coins listed
