That all sounds really great, can't wait for these features to be developed. Do you have any idea about timeline, when any of those items will be released?
I like namecoin, I do believe it has a lot of potential and at the same time I am wondering why all new 'fun-alt-coins' seem to have a better accessibility?
What strikes me every time I am trying to find a mac-wallet for namecoin, that I don't seem to be able to find one, unless I am compiling it myself, right?
(and that is not going to happen because I am not that tech-savvy) I feel like with the dot-bit forum, namecoin.info and namecoin.org - there are too many resources that all look very different that it is hard to tell which one is legit and more importantly the right source of information.... I can imagine that this simple fact alone is a huge hurdle for a wider adoption, let alone the missing mac-wallet software.
What I would wish for is an official entity that has credibility to organize web-presence and offers downloads of official software (with pgp and or md5).
All these softwares from to be downloaded at mediafire, box.com etc... don't really create a lot of trust, in my opinion.
I just wanted to put that out there as I believe, getting these things sorted out would greatly benefit the namecoin-environment.
On a different note: Does somebody know if
www.namecoin.org is legit? It has a wide range of wallets available for downloads but I can't find credits on that site... which makes it suspicious to me.
Thanks.
