I think most people dislike him but still follow him. That's the way it is for me anyway. Not a fan of the guy, think he's bad for crypto but i still follow him of course

I think he has successful made some predictions in the past that eventually became real. He has supported some ICO projects and most of those projects that i know of, succeeded. This is a man, that is well known by most people in the cryptospace and has a lot of followers. Although some people hate him and the reason for that, i do not know.
I believe that with the reputation he has been able to build, whenever he vouches for any project, his followers believe that such project is definitely legit.
Most of all, he has great influence.

I saw his movie Dude's crazy and very greedy power vise.. And all that shit about some oldschool virus looked to me like a scam to make bunch of money , either way i dont trust him neither his coins he's been promoting..

It seems to me that many people now understand that Mr. McAfee is a man who very skillfully works his reputation among the world community, which is what helps him to enjoy the opinion of the majority of people.

Only cares about profit and himself. Not good for the crypto scene at all yet people still follow him for his opinions.

McAfee is a really crazy dude, he's a good advocate for bitcoin but he talks complete nonsense half of the time. Telling people that you will chop off your own magic johnson if bitcoin doesn't reach a certain value might grab a lot of attention but it's not going to be the attention of the serious investors.
