[pre-ANN] They Might Be Coins!

You are viewing an original experiment with a humble start and big dreams.
With the support of a growing community (opening soon), we will test a FUN, "provably fair" way to launch a new altcoin.

`````````````````
the main topic
`````````````````
Our many related projects are looking for an honest way to do this

1) We help put new wealth into the hands of a group of friendly miners
2) Receive a fair amount of donations in return, for many related projects

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Caution: The text below needs editing, we are simply looking to raise honest money for next-gen projects much better than crappy ICO's, thank you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

One option:
Related to Winning a new type of "Game" which can improve (and sometimes profit from) the sick, sad ICO Bubble Dance.

Used Coins Lots   Cheesy
1) Get value for your distressed or "almost worthless" coins.  // They need to be still traded on at least one or two exchanges.
>>> You people "miners" have a variety of "crappy, old coins" which you either forgot about and/or are hoping they comeback.

2) Make an "angel investment" in something new which actually helps people.
3) (Optional) Participate in next-gen business incubators and make sure you investments pay of huge ASAP.
<snip>
`````````````````
Many details will depend on how the community votes, since we have 100's of projects supporting a small number of coins and tokens.
edit updates coming
Please help here: Are there any good targets for a "White-hat" takeover of an old, dead coin?
Was the launch considered fair?
```````````````
Ethics?
```````````````
Any advice for planning a NEW coin which will actually have rare long-term value?
The forum moves so fast!
Can we honestly make a quiet, ignored [ANN] announcement and start mining with just a few people?
I do not have mining rigs. If we have a legit "provably fair" project which happens to give large rewards to a small group will you promise to donate a % (i.e. ~20% of your honestly earned large stakes) to related projects?
If still interested, please answer this one:
>>> Instead of me asking for the profit sharing, would you like to consider being a "escrow agent" to pay students who win contests in many related projects.
OR This one:
ICO Bubble game sucks!  Cheesy
1) We (as described above) do a fair launch which might be ignored.
2) >>> Ethics problem here == How to get the new wealth on an exchange?   // Edit: Share with students who win contests, the coin is being "actually used" and then gets on an exchange (??)
<snip>
Please check the intro for the main topic.
Any decent feedback would be great, thanks.
The design of the picture is too bad!!!
Why? After making your first million dollars you could learn to like it?  Cheesy
I made it as part of a fun hobby, it is "a bit retro", but today's sites all look the same. A unique brand can enjoy no competition.
// Thanks for the honest feedback.
If I understood you correctly OP, you want people who can volunteer to relaunch an old dead project in which many miners has spent time and resources mining them in the past? I thought of what if the old holder's decide to seize the opportunity to dump their holdings but then again I realized you can make a swap of the old coins. We the holders now use the coin to incentive to encourage students to get into contest and get paid in those coins. How do you then raise money to get it listed in big exchanges? Even it does, whales who bought into the coins can have a control of the project since there are no way to prevent one individual from accumulating more than required volume of the coin at the exchanges where it us being traded?
Above all, the idea is a bright one that will benefit the crypto ecosystem in the long run due to the numerous ICOs which are dragging the name of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology they run on to the mud, but I don't really see a working solution here yet except maybe I didn't understand your texts.
