So

IS goldcoin Forked or what.

1 pool I have used has stopped all mining and another has just gone over 2 hours without finding a block at diff 0.19158863.

If it is forked how come Cryptsy is still trading it?

The coin has not been forked(intentionally). Actually the coin's main blockchain didn't take any hits at all.

What happened was that a few pools forgot to update their clients/daemons, and then, along the same time WDC was attacked, we got attacked as well.
Except our 51% defense code stopped the attack, and segmented the network... (cut the bad peers off from the good peers).

Some pools got labelled as bad peers because they failed to update..

Don't blame us for this.. We sent emails and a network wide alert even.

The network hashrate label is not meaningful anymore, please read this to find out more:

https://www.gldtalk.org/index.php?topic=738.msg3901#new

If you haven't already.. update your daemon/client and set your system date/time/timezone correctly, and re-download the blockchain(if your blocks don't match up with the explorer's).

Thanks,
