Although I have to say that most of them (altcoins) are mainly transaction purposes only. Still, your statement is not 100% correct though. There are many altcoins without business yet they managed to make it this far like : NANO. So..... since this is crypto we're talking about, we can't really be so sure of anything.

Is this a joke? EOS was making an ico which takes almost a year for the duration of ico. That's a big shame for you to mention EOS in your statement. It's even worst than another project with beta release. EOS doesn't even have nothing to prove. The platform doesn't even live. Stop make another joke dude. The important thing the token must have utility usage to the platform.

Yeah you nailed it sir. Thus, other cryptocurrency are just for display and it could not be used after the ICO. IT will just burned and you will get nothing if you invest in that kind of ICO. So choose the right ICO that will help you meet your demands just like if you have business then you need a decentralized money transfer so you should choose an ICO that offers that kind of project. As we all know decentralized money transfer will help you save your money since its transaction fee is lower than the centralized money transfer wherein you are going to pay the service of the third party service provider and also to their affiliate organization or co-service provider and that is a huge transaction fee compared to decentralized money transfer system.

demand is not something you can create. what you call demand is a temporary hype where money pours into these coins with the hope that the investor can dump and get more out of it. more like gamble actually and it won't last long.

first you should know the difference between coin and token. All coin you have mention that have thier own demand is also part of altcoin  so basd in the title and the one you want to explain to us is different  you might want  to say that token will die not altcoins.

Yes, may they be altcoins or tokens they will only live if they are applicable for daily use.
Altcoins that are the platform for popular tokens won't die until the token lives.
Coins like Monero and Zcash that have special usability too would survive.

Sure there'll be coins that die off, but there will be new iterations more successful than the last to replace it. One day, we'll find a real-world use for crypto beyond that of digital value.
