Looks like a joke from Theymos for April the first. In his OP today, I do not understand which specific roles of new items play in new ranking system (if really launched today). Unimagineable new ranking system! To be honest, I do not understand how it works.

If this is a joke then this will make me laugh, I had considered it as a serious thing and it turns out many people who think that it is a joke. No information has yet been able to explain it, but I am reminded that the Bitcointalk forum always offers jokes every 1 paril. That has been the case also in the past year. I am really confused and better to laugh without having to think about it any further.

I think I bacame crazy when I saw my fMerit decreases.  My fMerit before is 471 and finally decreased to 109.
EDIT: But sad it goes back. Haha April fools.
